Paul is enlightening us as he says we need to
put off our old way of life. We were at one time
walking in a way of life that we didn't fully grasp.
That is why all of us need to not only read the
words but become enlightened in the heart. This
is the way the Spirit grows in us and brings us to
places we've never been. It is the way our hearts
are filled with a way of life that is filled with the
Spirit. We become one in Christ; Christ becomes
one in us. We have grown from our early way of
life and so called ignorant of what the Spirit tells
us. It is God's glory that we strongly bring into our
hearts and leave the flesh behind. We soon come
to a place where we can't fall any longer. It is a
place where sin can not kill the Spirit but where
the Spirit kills sin. We are no longer living under
laws, we are living in the Spirit. We are in God
and God will never let us go because we are a
part of Him.
