That is once we have surrendered totally to our Lord,
we have to dedicate more and more of ourselves to
Him. Indeed it is a process and while we must always
do our best to glorify Him, our human condition is not
yet perfect. One day it will be but at this point. we are
not yet there. What we are called to do is to strive to
come closer and closer to God in all things that we do.
When we fail, we come to Him for forgiveness. Each
time He forgives us, we must try to get better. If we
just keep on sinning without even trying to improve, we
are deceiving ourselves and falling into a dangerous
way of Christian life. Our God is merciful and loving and
His redemption is forever but to live a fruitful Christian
life, we must always follow His example. In that way, we
grow closer and closer to Him and our lives become far
more wholesome and loving.
