At Christmas many cards are printed and sent, all expressing good wishes and love. It is a miracle in our world so filled with ill will. There are children who receive toys from strangers and hungry people who are given food. Each kindness is a testimony of the Lord. In my case, there are people who buy presents and give them to forgotten elderly living in my assisted living home. My family will be sending ill will and ignoring me, the love expressed by strangers is powerful.
Each loving thought and deed spreads the spirit of Christ, each mean thought and deed spreads the devil.
It is amazing that after years and years that people have been warring, and fighting, and exalting themselves, and millions and billions of dollars is not enough for them, and not caring about the poor and needy, and Paul said evil men shall wax worse deceiving and being deceived, and Jesus said since iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold, that there is still many people of the world that care about other people and still have some kind of compassion for other people, and civilized, and organized, and not too out of control.
That should testify of a God right there keeping His hands on things so they stay in check and the world does not get too crazy for if there was not a God it would seem as if the world would of devoured each other by now.
And the purpose for this not so crazy world kept by God is so people can be saved and do not ever come to the plan to get rid of the Gospel, and not believe in a higher power which creation testifies of that, and that God loves people so He keeps things from getting out of control for He will only allow the devil to go so far in tempting people and influencing the world.
2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
Rev 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
But the time will come when God will remove the restraining on the devil which he will be off his leash concerning the wicked which is symbolic of the beast ascending out of the bottomless pit, for God has to allow all people who do not love Him to follow the beast so He can end this sin business on earth.
So enjoy your Christmas cards from people who love you that do not accept Christ but still care about your welfare, for one day it will not be Christmas cards they send but a sword and will forget all about when they used to like you, or love you.
I know it is not a very positive thing to say concerning Christmas time coming up but the world only cares because of God for He will not allow the devil to influence them that much and he is on a leash but that devil attitude is there it just has not been stirred up yet.
So think about that when your boss who is an atheist gives you a Christmas card or anyone else of the world that if they do not change that devil attitude may well be going against you and then you will say where is my Christmas card, and Uncle Frank it is me your nephew, and Hank didn't we go bowling together and good friends, why do you do this for they will not care.
And it is true every kindness is a testimony of the Lord for the beast kingdom testifies of that when the devil is off his leash concerning the wicked.
