I pray you will LABOR INTENSELY to enter into God's rest, so your good works may follow you as you are led by the mind and Spirit of Jesus, quickened (made alive) by God's mighty power. Doing His will and loving others as yourself while loving Him and producing fruits of righteousness-- forever living with His peace, love and hope within you to the fullest measure. Please read:
"There 𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒔 therefore a 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕 to the people of God. For he that 𝒊𝒔 𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 into His rest, he also has 𝒄𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 from his own works, as God did from His. Let us 𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒓 therefore to 𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief." -Hebrews 4:9-11

As a follower of Jesus Christ, one needs to ask themselves some very serious questions about their life. Do you believe that with God ALL things are possible as the Lord said? Have you "entered into God's rest"? Have you ceased from your own works? Do you obtain the patience of the saints and keep the commandments of God? Do your works follow you? And have you ceased from sin through the mind and Spirit of Jesus Christ? Read the following scriptures and you will see why I am asking you these difficult questions.

"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that 𝒐𝒃𝒆𝒚 the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from hereafter: Yea, says the Spirit, that they may 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒍𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒓𝒔; and 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔 𝒅𝒐 𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎." -Revelation 14:12-13

"Forasmuch then as Christ has suffered for us in the flesh, 𝒂𝒓𝒎 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅: for he that has suffered in the flesh 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒄𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒔𝒊𝒏." -1 Peter 4:1

We must remember that Jesus said that with God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. This includes turning from your sin and living a holy live that is pleasing to God. Peace, love, and grace be to all who read this. Enter into His peace (Hebrews 4). May you always be thankful for that is God's will concerning you in Christ Jesus 💖💖💖

That would not be like GODs rest , The 4th commandment go's all the way back to creation , It was wrote by JESUS's finger , It was wrote in stone ,Meaning that it won't be change , Isaiah 66:23 IT will even be kept in Heaven .
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Says it's the whole duty of man to keep HIS commandments . GOD dose not change neither will HIS LAWS . Keeping HIS SABBATH is part of the LOVE we can show to HIM . IF ye love me, keep MY commandments . Believe Me, JESUS wrote them with HIS own finger . HE wants us to keep it .

yeah that's not what Jesus said

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

the journey is not easy, but nor is it a burden. Live, laugh, love. And the sabbath is superfluous now, if we all obeyed the sabbath, there would be no hospital working Sunday, no fire brigade, no police, if the waterworks broke down , no water until Monday etc. Never mind the law, just be as Jesus.

Could be translated, "let us hasten therefore to enter into that Rest." Hebrews 4:11

Matthew 11

“28 Come unto Me (is meant by Jesus to reveal Himself as the Giver of Salvation), all you who labor and are heavy laden (trying to earn Salvation by works), and I will give you rest (this “rest” can only be found by placing one’s Faith in Christ and what He has done for us at the Cross [Gal. 5:1-6]).

29 Take My yoke upon you (the “yoke” of the “Cross” [Lk. 9:23]), and learn of Me (learn of His Sacrifice [Rom. 6:3-5]); for I am meek and lowly in heart (the only thing that our Lord Personally said of Himself): and ye shall find rest unto your souls (the soul can find rest only in the Cross).

30 For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light (what He requires of us is very little, just to have Faith in Him, and His Sacrificial Atoning work).”

The carnal mind makes it not easy, but difficult to take His light burden upon us for it's not what the carnal mind wants. You must put the carnal mind off and put the flesh to death through the Spirit (your labor) to take Christ's yoke upon you in truth.

How do we do this through the Spirit (our labor)?
"For if you live after the flesh, you shall die: BUT IF YOU *THROUGH THE SPIRIT* DO MORTIFY [put to death] THE DEEDS OF THE BODY you shall live." -Romans 8:11

"And they that are Christ's *HAVE CRUCIFIED* [past tense] the flesh with the affections and lusts." -Galatians 5:24

Galatians 5:19 lists all of the works of the flesh that you must MORTIFY, CRUCIFY, PUT TO DEATH, through the Holy Spirit. That means you resist them until they are no longer a part of your nature.

By obtaining the strength needed to CEASE (put to death) the deeds of the body through the Spirit of God that will quicken you and make you able to endure temptation.

By obtaining the strength needed to CEASE (put to death) the deeds of the body through the Spirit of God that will quicken you and make you able to endure temptation.
It is by "Grace" through "Faith" that the "Temple" is built.

The only thing that God will accept from any Believer is "Faith" in His Son Jesus and the Cross of Calvary where the victory was won, i.e., The Finished Work, i.e., The Blood of Jesus.

God has chosen to operate His work from the basis of faith. "The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:2) is God's prescribed order of victory for the Believer over sin, the world, the flesh, and the Devil. This means that the Believer must place and maintain proper Faith the size of a mustard seed exclusively in Christ and the Cross of Calvary, i.e., The Finished Work, i.e., The Blood of Jesus, where the victory was won so that His life would be lived through you. This gives the Holy Spirit the legal means to help and do what is needed to be done in the Believers life because the Believer is glorifying Christ, God's beloved Son in whom He is pleased. You are now operating in the spirit. No Believer can fix the flesh with the flesh. All fruits that are added to the leaves of the Believer most be done by the Holy Spirit or you enter the works of the flesh (Gal. 5:19-21).

The Holy Spirit doesn't require much of us, but He does require one thing, and without reservation. Our Faith must be exclusively be in Christ and the Cross; understanding that this is God's Prescribed Order of Victory (Rom. 8:2).

The Holy Spirit works strictly within the parameters of the "Finished Work" i.e., "The Cross of Christ" i.e., "The Blood of Jesus;" which demands that our Faith be placed and maintained exclusively in the Cross of Christ. The reason is simple, that's were the price was paid, and the victory was forever won (Romans 6:1-14; 1 Cor. 2:2; Gal. 5; Gal. 6:14; Eph. 2:13-18; Col. 2:14-15).

Victory over sin: Romans 8:2
Victory over the world: Galatians 6:14; 1 John 5:4
Victory over the flesh: Galatians 5:24
Victory over the Devil:Hebrews 2:14; Colossians 2:15

The Apostle Paul makes it very clear in Romans 8:10 that the physical body, mind / intellect, and the heart (which is evil - Jeremiah 17:9) has been rendered helpless because of the original sin; consequently, the Believer trying to overcome by willpower presents a fruitless task. Only the Holy Spirit can mortify the deeds of the flesh and make us what we ought to be (Romans 8:13). This means we cannot do it ourselves. Once again, He performs all that He does within the confines of the Finished Work of Christ (Romans 8:2).

If a Christian will and their efforts to live for God is in anything except Christ and the Cross, i.e., Finished Work, The Blood of Jesus (Romans 8:2), Satan can override your will and force you to do things you don't want to do and trying not to do (Ephesians 6:12). Jesus said deny yourself and pick up your cross and follow me (Luke 9:23).

Remember our bodies are dead and useless to God. The heart is prone to wander away from God's love and eat from "The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil." The reason why the body is dead is because of the effects of the fall has made us totally incapable of yielding spiritual obedience on a regular basis (Jeremiah 13:23). So there must be a source outside of myself that helps me to enter into sanctification which is the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:13).

Note: The Believer must repent not just for the bad they are doing, but also for the good they are doing. Why? Because the Believer can depend on the good to get them through (Jer. 6:13-15). Good things will always follow right living. However, that is not God's way. His way is Faith exclusively in Christ and His Finished Work (Rev. 3:17-22).

How does a Believer maintain Faith exclusively in Christ and the Cross? By just believing in Jesus (who He is - John 1:1-14, 29) and what He accomplished at Calvary Cross where the victory was one. Romans 4:5 - Galatians 2:19-21 NKJV - 1 Corinthians 1:18-25 NKJV - Colossians 2:11-15 NKJV

Jesus said you can do nothing without me (John 15:5).

Your Word for Today

"Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s Righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the Righteousness of God (Rom. 10:1-3).

The main purpose of the Holy Spirit giving us, through Paul, Chapters 9 through 11 of Romans was not, as stated, for Prophetical analysis, even though that, in measure, was given, but rather to warn the Church. If the Church follows in Israel’s footsteps by being ignorant of God’s Righteousness or by refusing God’s Righteousness, attempting, as Israel, to establish its own righteousness, the Church will be cut off just as Israel was cut off.

Concerning this, Paul said, “For if God spared not the natural branches (Israel), take heed lest He also spare not you (refers to the Church, as is obvious). Behold, therefore the goodness and severity of God (don’t mistake the Goodness of God for license): on them which fell, severity (speaks of Judgment which came on Israel, God’s chosen People); but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His Goodness (proclaims the conditions; the continuing of that “Goodness” pertains to continued Faith in Christ and the Cross): otherwise you also shall be cut off” (Rom. 11:21-22).

“God’s Righteousness” is that which is afforded by Jesus Christ, gained by and through the Cross. The only way that God’s Righteousness can be given to anyone is by virtue of the Cross, which demands Faith on the part of the recipient. If one attempts to gain righteousness by any other manner, the Lord refers to it as “self-righteousness,” and it is unacceptable — totally unacceptable!

I ask the following question:

How much is the modern Church preaching the Cross? The answer screams back at us, “Precious little!”

The Church has already apostatized. The Church Age opened with Christ standing in the midst of the candlesticks, in which the candlesticks represent the Church (Rev. 1:12-13). At the close of the Church Age, which pertains to the present time, we no longer find Christ in the midst of the Church, but rather outside, knocking on the door, trying to get in (Rev. 3:17-20). The Lord is, in fact, no longer dealing with the institutionalized Church as a whole, but rather with individuals only.

To be sure, the Lord has always dealt with individuals, but now it is only individuals.

“If any man hear My Voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Rev. 3:20). So, who presently is saved?

It is the same now as it was with Israel of old.

Paul said, “Even so then at this present time (Paul’s day) also there is a Remnant according to the election of Grace (definitely speaks of Predestination, but not as many think; it is the “Remnant” that is elected or predestined, not who will be in the Remnant).

“And if by Grace (the Goodness of God, all made possible by the Cross), then is it no more of works (no one can point to their works as grounds for Salvation): otherwise Grace is no more Grace (if works are mixed with Grace, they nullify Grace). But if it be of works, then is it no more Grace (works can never produce Grace): otherwise work is no more work” (for example, Water Baptism, if acted upon wrongly, nullifies its true meaning; this also holds true for all other great Ordinances of the Lord) (Rom. 11:5-6).

As there was a “Remnant” in Israel who were saved, meaning that most were lost, likewise, there also is a “Remnant” in the modern Church who are saved, but only a Remnant. Israel had rejected much of that which was of the Lord, but when they rejected the Cross, there was nothing left. They were cut off. The modern Church has done the same thing. It has rejected much which is of the Lord, but now it is rejecting the Cross. As with Israel, if the Cross is rejected, that means the Righteousness of God is rejected, and that means the Church is also cut off — except for the “Remnant.”

Are you in the Remnant?

The only way that anyone can be in the Remnant is by accepting Christ and what Christ did at the Cross. There is no other way!"’

First Creation...And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done.
(Gen 2:2)

2nd Creation... John 19:30 (KJV) When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

As new born creatures we are to cease from our works (self striving) and enter by faith into His finished work of obedience, not our Cain offering.

For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous.

GOD RESTED
1st creation -(old earth, eild heaven) God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.

2nd creation - New heaven and new earth. EVERYTHIN WILL BE GOOD.
Rev 21:5 KJV And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

We cannot enter the old rest...but we will in the new heaven and earth
