Do you really think that nothing happens when His Spirit is sealed into a called out one?
i thought it was you who thinks being sealed upon receiving His word isn't an effectual salvation?
i mean, aren't you saying that doesn't count for anything; that a persistence in good works following after, if indeed it follows, is what counts?

but he is saying that something does happen: that upon placing his trust in God, he is enveloped in the aegis of his Strong Defender, such that no weapon will prosper against him.

that's a very marvelous thing: simple to state, but extraordinarily complex in its implication & manifestation.

You have never Loved Elohim/God if you don't keep the Feast Days in the Law of Moses.
HOLD UP

In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a feast day or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.
Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations — “Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,” which all concern things which perish with the using — according to the commandments and doctrines of men? These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.
(Colossians 2:11-23)

You will see for sure....and it will be your worst day ever....with eternity to pay.......make no mistake about it pal.....NO ONE is made righteous by keeping the law or any other religious hoop jumping......I suggest you open your eyes the the mercy, grace and saving faith found under the New Covenant and quit conflating both the Old and New into a false dogma with no power to do anything but condemn you to a devil's hell.....!!
Isaiah 5:20 King James Version (KJV)

20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

You are inverted!

We do not promote other websites on this thread...This is Christian Chat...we do not need to read the same drivel and blather that you peddle here from another site to already know that we do not buy what you are selling.....Trust Jesus by faith anf be set free from the chains that bind you!!!
Matthew 19:21 King James Version (KJV)

21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

@dcontroversal, We suspect you are a Satanist pretending to be a follower of Messiah/Christ. You must sell all your possessions and give to the poor to be True Disciple of Yeshua Messiah/Jesus Christ.

All the commandments are summarily fulfilled in the Royal law 'love your neighbor as yourself':

"whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. 9The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” a and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” " - Romans 13:8-9

When you keep the command to love your neighbor as yourself you are 'keeping' all the rest. So it's really more accurate to say you have never fulfilled the Feast Days in the Law of Moses if don't love your neighbor as yourself.
Leviticus 23:1-2 King James Version (KJV)

23 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.

You must do the Feast Days exactly and painstakingly as demanded by Elohim/God. Indeed, you must keep the Royal Law.

Just so you know, everyone has seen you fight for objectively incorrect points for days....

If you or anyone who believes as you suspects something, it is not going to hold any weight with people who have actually read scripture.

also, when someone is saying " don't sin, perfection is required, sell all you own and give to the poor, perfectly keep the feasts and festivals, ", but refuse to answer if they do so or not, then that person has 0 credibility...

Lol, I can be a character witness. He does sin. Has on this forum actually.

Pushed a false gospel, added onto what God would have us do and took away from what Jesus did.

Wisdom calls aloud outside;
she raises her voice in the open squares.
She cries out in the chief concourses,
at the openings of the gates in the city
she speaks her words:
“how long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity?"
(Proverbs 1:20-22)
oddly enough the scriptures indicate that the ones on the wide path love simple.
Let us not confuse the simplicity of the Gospel with the striving to enter which is not simple.

@Elihoenai you have just exposed yourself.

I checked out the link, because this has been a theme here on BDF the past little while.... i.e. 'sell all your possessions"

Interesting you link to "gaviriachristian"

So are you the banned member gaviriachristian or one of his disciples?

I know he has a following.... plenty of stupid people in this world

I can tell you no one is buying what you are selling..... it is pure nonsense!!!

The link is to another forum website, is to show interesting discussion about Yeshua's/Jesus's command to sell all your possessions and give to the poor. To be a True Disciple you must obey this command.

Sure you tell us all about how you have done this first.

Let us not confuse the simplicity of the Gospel with the striving to enter which is not simple.
yes --
let me stumble through trying to clarify :)

the gospel is very simple to state, '
believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved!'
but the implications of this simple statement are beyond us to understand; this is amazing

but the false gospel of works is very complex to state - line after line and precept after precept, list after list of '
do not!' and 'do!'
while it is very simple in implication: earn your way; make yourself equal to God so He has no basis to judge you.
