Too bad I had more to write to her... harlot is hardly enough, next time I prefer ........... "Queen of Harlots"

I have been told I have Italian royal blood in me!:)
I was going to agree, but that might have been considered bullying.

Why is my question antagonistic ...I think a very fair question.
Actually it was not. The post was on Romans 7 and 8. Since you could not deny the truth of the post you asked this. If you can't see where it is antagonist there is no hope for you

I keep wondering why a perfect, sinless person like yourself cannot clearly state that they are sinless?

Are you sinless?
Being delivered from the "law of sin and death" in no way means Paul was proclaiming to be sinless.

Erroneous, crazy, foolhardy dogma I guess is the price to be paid for not keeping scripture under lock and key.
No one said he was. Maybe you ought to actually read what you reply to. Here it is again with Et's comment that instigated the post you responded to.

The apostle John said if we (including himself) say we are sinless we are decieved

If John can’t do item and Paul admitted he could not do it’s far be it from me to think I am better then they were. They were apostles!
So in response to ET saying Paul said he could not live without sinning the following was shared

Where did Paul admit such? Chapter 7 in Romans? You are mistaken my friend. The context continues in chapter 8 where Paul through the Spirit speaks of being delivered from the Law of Sin and death, condemning sin in the flesh that the righteousness of the law be fulfilled in us.

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
(Rom 7:23-8:4 KJV)

In chapter 7 Paul claimed to be in captivity to the Law of Sin and cried out who shall deliverer me from this Body of Death. Then in chapter 8 proclaims deliverance from the same that the righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in us who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit.

Let me put it this way.... short and not sweet..

You are wrong!

Salvation is a gift it cannot be earned or reclaimed.

See Romans 4:4 and read it everyday over and over again.

Yeah well she called me a harlot...so you tell me who is combatant and as far as I can recall I never stopped so low towards anyone here on CC.
That’s the way these legalistic hypocrites are (not saying all legalists are hypocrites. So I don’t get accused of saying this)

they yell and scream and judge, yet they do the very thing they judge you of doing, and it’s ok.

Some people need to continually let us know their true feelings, they like to use various 'alters" to make sure we know there is more than one!

Who does this Scripture remind you of?

1 Corinthians 3:18-20 (CSBBible)
18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this age, let him become a fool so that he can become wise.
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, since it is written, He catches the wise in their craftiness;
20 and again, The Lord knows that the reasonings of the wise are futile.
