The gospel preached to the Gentiles. Satan bound by the gospel.

“And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.” Revelation 20:1–3 (KJV 1900)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Satan rallies the unbelievers from around the world against Israel the church.
“And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” Revelation 20:7–10 (KJV 1900)
1000 years? A sketch would be;
The angel = Greek for messenger
the chain = the message (gospel); The gospel sent to the whole world.
1000 years are Satan's binding. When they end Satan is loosed. So the 1000 years are not the kingdom. When they end, Satan is loosed, and he attacks the kingdom.
Satan loosed = the Post Christian era (we now live in = imminent return of Christ) the gospel message falls on deaf ears, the world assails the Church from all quarters ushering in the end.
When did the binding happen?
The binding happened in Christ's ministry. This includes preaching the gospel to all nations fulfilling God's promise to Abraham.
“Jesus said, “This voice has not come for my benefit but for yours. Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be driven out.” (John 12:30–31)
So in essence, Revelation 20 is a panorama of the entire New Covenant era. Not a physical kingdom of the future.
There is no future physical kingdom. The kingdom is spiritual and the gospel preached since Christ's first advent.
You are greatly mistaken:
Joh_18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
It is to be future, when the "first dominion" is brought back, in the New Heavens and New Earth, the "world to come":
Mic_4:8 And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
Mat_12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Mar_10:30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
Luk_18:30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
1Co_3:22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
Eph_1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
Heb_2:5 For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
That which is preached now and experienced now, is only the "taste" (earnest, downpayment, surety) of that which is to come:
Heb_6:5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
Eph_1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
The Bible is extremely clear on this point:
Isa_65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Isa_66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
2Pe_3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Your 'Millennium" in the link is false. If you had read what I presented (at all) you would see that Jesus and the saints do not reign on earth over anyone during the 1,000 years. Yet, even so, resurrection, and angels, were also taught by the pharisees, not that either were theirs, but that they did teach them based upon scripture, unlike the heretical credal catholicism you are preaching. The Pharisees confused the final Advent with the first.
You are reading scripture with the same veil the Pharisees had over their eyes and denying Jesus.
Notice I said Satan is now loosed and Christ's return imminent. The Millennium is a Pharisee doctrine condemned as heresy by the Council of Ephesus in 431. Jesus refuted it many times in the gospels.
You claim satan was under lock and key for the gospel age.. That has lasted for near on two thousand years.. At no time for the last 2000 years has satan been in chains unable to deceive people..
The prophecy in Revelation 20 states clearly that satan will not be able to deceive the nations during the 1000 years..
Revelation 20: KJV
1 "And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. {2} And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, {3} And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season."
So satan will not be able to deceive anyone in the nations of the earth for 1000 years.. Non at all.. But we have nations that have been deceived during the last 2000 years.. Islam started in the 7th century. Hinduism has been active all the way through those centuries.. Messiah rejecting Judaism has been active constantly for those 2000 years.. Admit it your teaching is just wrong.. A desperate attempt to conform the prophecies to your beliefs rather then reading the scriptures and letting them guide you to all truth..
You are not defining scripture with scripture. Don't go beyond scripture when defining words. You add to Revelation this way.
Prove it says what you think it does. Remember, the Pharisees had a veil over their eyes when reading the OT. So I won't accept any of their views. Prove it from the NT.
I think if you carefully read Revelation 20. You will understand that satan's binding applies only to not being able to deceive the nations. God still uses him during this time to perform his four sore judgements on the world.
Jesus refutes a physical kingdom many times in the gospels. As pointed out, the 1000 years are the symbol of Satan's binding. Adding to Revelation is taboo.
Yes the key is the gospel that binds with a what is called a chain and loosens the gates of hell called a bottomless pit. For a unrevealed time.We walk by faith not after what the eyes see. The same key that sets us free .
Th parable reads....
Note.... bold = metaphor used in the parable to represent the unseen
Revelation 20 King James Version (KJV) And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
It is no adding. The Kingdom of God will be a physical Kingdom that will supplant this physical and corrupt world. The Lord God will have his perfect new earth and his new heaven, a perfect new creation, a perfect Kingdom. God will dwell in his perfect Kingdom with his children whom he saves, forever, praise Jesus.
As for the millennial reign, it is a great subject to study indeed. Those that attain to the first resurrection are the ones that reign for the millennium. If you remember in the prophecy the first resurrection is when Jesus comes and calls up the 144,000 saints from Revelation 14. These important saints, virgins whom have never been defiled by the women, are tasked with punishing the spirit of Babylon THE MOTHER OF ALL WHORES AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
These male virgin saints will judge Babylon's children and all of the earth, those whom drank from her cup of fornications and abominations, and they will make the Last Generation of the wicked drink doubly out of the cup of God's wine of wrath for 1000 years. These blessed 144,000 saints will be instrumental in ending the world and pressing out the wine of God's wrath upon the wicked. They are worthy of this high honor and status because, as Paul relates, the virgin have the mind of God, but the married and the whores, they have the mind of the earthly.
After the 1000 years are accomplished, that evil animal, the dragon named Satan and Devil, he will be released again, from bottomless pit. As in typical fashion befitting the foolish and evil animal, he will futilely attempt to gather the last generation of sinners to wage war against Jesus and the 144,000 saints. Yet without much of struggle the Lord Jesus will utterly defeat Satan and throw him away into the Lake of fire. Then will the second resurrection happen, and everyone that ever lived will be resurrected. Every person that ever lived will see the Lord God and their knees will bow and their tongues will confess that his is the God when they see the terrible and glorious eminence of his unutterable glorious face. Then will be the Judgement Day, and those that did well shall be raised up to eternal life in God's Kingdom, but those that did wickedly, being deceived by the dragon into following him, shall be cast with the dragon into the lake of fire to eternal condemnation. Those few that are blessed to be among the first resurrection will not face the power of the Judgement Day, for they will be resurrected to life in the first resurrection. And the saints of the first resurrection, and the saints of the second resurrection, and the 24 elders, and the good angels, will dwell in perfect peace and perfect goodness with the Lord Jesus in his Kingdom, the New Jerusalem, forever, praising God eternally.
The metaphor 144,000 represent the chaste virgin bride of Christ the whole church. She is made up of all the nations of the world beginning w with Abel the first recorded martyr.
The Kingdom of God will be a physical Kingdom .But not physical here under the Sun . Corruption does not put on the incorruptible. .No rebuilds or reconditioned .New rudiments. And the 144,000 according to the signified interpretation of the book of Revelation is a unknown just as the 1000 years. We are not of the number that walk after what the eyes see .The temporal.
2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:
faith= unseen eternal (no counting)
Sight = 1 2 3 4 5 6 etc
No count downs to him who comes as a thief in the night on the last day .
There is no need to start thread after thread to promote your nonsensical views. And it is you who is adding to Revelation some very misleading ideas. So far all you have done is show Christians that you are either (a) thoroughly confused or (b) thoroughly deceived.
Prove what I say wrong using NT scripture. Don't use Phariseeism to prove your point. Paul said they have a veil over their eyes and if you agree with them, so do you.
