LOL! I knew you were not up for the challenge. If you wanted to help that person then you would be willing to show what the Scripture says about all of this. Maybe not be so snitty the next time someone like me "just arrives" in the discussion? What do you think?

The level of unnecessary vitriol on non-social media is reaching epidemic levels. I say “non-social” media because posting on an electronic device is not true social interaction. People would only very rarely say many of the nasty things in person that they so willingly post online. It’s easy to hit and run and hide on the internet, and it is a target rich environment for the small-minded to take out their frustrations and aggression. Obviously, Christian forums are not an exception.

I posted a link to a book that elucidates what the Scripture says on the subject of generational curses and sins. You responded with a nasty, snitty, passive aggressive comment. Now your feelings are hurt, and you are embarrassed at your lack of knowledge on the subject. You are a bully. I am always nice to people on here but have no tolerance for bullies, especially those that are afraid to debate what the Scripture really says about any subject.

I am happy to adopt a gentle, loving tone with anyone willing to do the same. Stop picking on people and this won’t happen to you.

My step sis married & does not want kids ever. My lil step sis is the only one who married & had 2 kids. My husband & I wanted kids but can’t afford them since he can’t work due to a work injury that we hoped would eventually heal but instead turned in to a live long disability. People tell us have them anyways. Why? If we did they 100% would live below poverty level. I refuse to bring them in to life like that, even though it sucks not have any. I heard a rumor that my mom did witchcraft. Don’t know if that could be true. How strange does all of this sound?

Sister, my heart goes out to you. I pray that the Lord will manifest his grace and mercy and love to you. It sounds like you have had a rough go of it. I pray the Lord bless you with a bit of rest from your struggles.
I don't think you have a curse. I think you are one of the many victims of a fallen world wrecked from sin. This valley of the shadow of death is a veil of tears because not only our own sin but the sin of communities and generations. My heart breaks for you, as I read the description of your situation.
There is no curse on anyone who has the Holy Ghost.

May the Lord bless you and keep you forever and ever amen.

I see you started a thread about curses years back and no one replied

Generational Curses/Sins

to be sure, if you answer everyone back and fly off the hinges when you disagree about something, no one is going to talk with you

it seems curses have been on your mind for years...going back to 2014 and here, 6 years later, you are still angry about it

not answering you has to do with your arrogance and demands for a debate

I have said plenty about this topic in other threads and people generally take one side or the other

I don't know the reason for your anger...why this topic gets you so angry and frankly no one has to stick around to be railed on by someone who obviously has a hangup about the topic

so no, I am not going to engage you further but it would be best if you don't go to bed angry

take some time and calm down

LOL! I'm not angry. I'm tickled. I am amazed that you are so afraid of this subject. You are great a calling someone "angry" and making snide comments, just not so great at supporting your claims.

It depends, you dont have to have a lot of gold to raise kids. If you can look after yourself and you have sufficient funds then dont let anything stop you. There are benefits for children too. I am not saying be a benefit scrounger, bit i am saying explore possibilities, and look at different financial options to looking after a child. I wish you all the best.
