P
What a strange morning I woke up to.
It's been on my mind and in my heart to greet the day in prayer and fellowship with the Lord. Waking up before the rising of the sun for me is not unusual but to get out of the comfort of my bed let's say I lack motivation lol.
I decided to get up and go see the aligning of the planets which the whether man spoke about the day before.
Of course on my mind were also the thoughts about what's going on with the out break and such and being out of work and my wife and I being high risk well I'm sure I'm not the only one dealing with this. Anyways..,...
I headed out to see what the alignment would look like. Mind you it's 20 degrees outside and ol Potter here in just his jammies and robe.
As I passed my truck in the driveway I remembered I bought some bird seed and it was in the front seat. So I grab it and said wait a minute this is to much for me to process right now I didn't even have my morning coffee yet.
Something urged me to continue so I did. Across the lawn to the feeders I went. Back to the house to get a knife to open the bag. Back across the lawn. By this time my feet and hands were numb and aching. Mission accomplished feeders full but no show on the planets.
As I sat down with my cup of coffee I started hearing song birds singing and wings flapping. My wife woke up and asked what's going on out there?
I told her about the morning events.
As I listened to the birds Melodies scripture came to mind when Jesus talked about our father feeding the birds and our worth being more than them. But my heart sank when I realized that I was not as thankful as these birds. So I started singing and a peace and joy came over me.
I went into our front room where I could view the feeders and peek at the birds there in the flock of many was a dove looking back at me
What a lesson what a blessing....what a morning. Thank you Lord.
