Hey, all! My name is Rebecca but friends and family call me Becky. I’m hoping to make new friends that I can study the Bible with and discuss our readings. I desire to study both the Old and New Testament, and I’m hoping to interact with kind and humble people.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, one lifts his companion up. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up.”

Hello Becky, we are glad that you have joined us here at Christian Chat.

Look through the threads in the Bible Discussion Forum where you should find many interesting people discussing both New and Old Testament subjects. Discussions however can become rather heated at times.

We look forward to chatting with you. Welcome! :)

Hello Becky, welcome to CChat :)

This is a great place to discuss the Bible (y)(y) Unfortunately, you'll find that humility and kindness are in short supply sometimes, especially in certain threads (particularly the ones that involve controversial topics). Of course, participating in such threads gives us the opportunity to practice being a Matthew 7:12 Christian (in a situation where it isn't easy), both for our sake and the sake of others, as well for His glory .. Matthew 5:16.

God bless you!

Hello again @Rlb79, my link to Matthew 7:12 (in post #5 above) seems to be broken, but it is one of the verses in my signature line at the bottom of my posts, just FYI :)

Sorry about that.

BTW, if you are someone who likes the ability to edit her posts at times, you'll have just 5 minutes to do so here on the CChat boards once you've posted a reply or an OP
(just FYI).

Hello Rebecca and welcome to Christian Chat! :)

I have a niece named 'Rebecca' and for some strange reason, she (and her mother) get upset if someone calls her Becky.
