Mexico is the primary source of illegal immigration into the United States. Yet, when faced with the coronavirus crises, Mexico has not hesitated to deport all of its illegal migrants as noted in the article below. That is not only commendable but amazing, and a lesson for the government of the United States.

On the other hand, and at the same time, illegals have actually been released into the USA under the Trump administration to add to the population of illegals already present in the millions (and who will ensure that the evil Democrats win the elections every time).

It should also be noted that the Catholic Church and several mainline denominations have been encouraging people to become law-breakers by secretly harboring illegals instead of asking them to return to their countries and apply for legal immigration.

Mexico Deports Nearly All Of Its Illegal Migrants Amid Coronavirus Fears, Government Reveals

JASON HOPKINS IMMIGRATION AND POLITICS REPORTER
April 27, 2020

Mexico has almost completely cleared out its migrant centers as a precaution against the coronavirus outbreak, its government announced.

The National Migration Institute (INM), the agency in Mexico that manages immigration, said it has been deporting immigrants from the country’s 65 migrant facilities since March 21, according to Reuters. The actions are being made in order to comply with safety and health guidelines amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Mexico’s government migrant centers housed 3,759 people in March. In recent weeks, authorities have repatriated 3,653 migrants back to Guatemala, El Salvador and Guatemala by air and road. INM’s migrant shelters and centers have a maximum capacity of 8,524 spaces, but the agency said only 106 individuals remain.

Central American migrants walk along the Mexican bank of the Rio Bravo that divides the cities of Eagle Pass, in Texas, US and Piedras Negras, in the state of Coahuila, Mexico on February 17, 2019. “Today, Mexico’s policy is to contain and deport,” Victor Clark Alfaro, an expert on immigration at San Diego State University, told Reuters. Alfaro said the directive to reduce its migrant population coincides with pressure from the Trump administration to control its illegal alien population.

However, not all migrants are slated to be deported. Dozens of migrant shelters operated by religious and other non-government organizations are still harboring foreign nationals amid the virus outbreak. Of the migrants who remain in INM centers, many are waiting for decisions from their judicial hearings or asylum requests, while some have explicitly asked to stay in Mexico.

The majority of migrants who were deported were first detained because they illegally entered the country, according to one Mexican governmental official.

The United States, which is facing a much more severe coronavirus outbreak, has released some illegal aliens from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody — many of them due to lawsuits by immigrant-rights groups saying they are in danger of contracting the virus while in detention.

There are just under 31,000 foreign nationals in ICE detention, according to the agency’s latest numbers. Thousands have been released since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.

These are unrealistic numbers, the actual undocumented people living in Mexico is through the roof.

I’ve learned as of couple years ago in 2017, the number of illegal Americans living in Mexico was around 900,000 the number has steady gone up. today it’s probably well over a million living in Mexico, it is right at 90% of Americans living in Mexico are illegal that’s ironic considering all the fuss over illegals in America lol.

but to think Mexico has only 30k to 40k illegal people living in México is well short. A whole lot of other nationalities are living illegally in Mexico also. It’s hard to believe those figures on illegal immigrants in Mexico when looking up how many undocumented actually are living there.

Well if they have been forwarding illegals to the USA all along, then it is perfectly realistic that only a few thousand have remained in Mexico. The goal has always been to cross into the US illegally.

Trump, citing coronavirus, says U.S. will remove illegal migrants and asylum seekers
"will remove" is not the same as "have removed".Well it is not really happening. The same with the total shut down of legal immigrants, after which an exception was made.

Of who the Mexican government say are, like I mentioned there are a million Americans living in Mexico illegally alone, then there’s a lot of Cubans and other nationalities living illegally in Mexico. México hasn’t Accomplished anything other than meaningless numbers and propaganda.

Why don't you focus on Canada's deportation numbers during this crisis?

Guatemala Says U.S. Deportations Are Driving a Spike in Coronavirus Cases
April 14,2020
(GUATEMALA CITY) — Guatemala’s health minister said Tuesday that deportees from the United States were driving up the country’s COVID-19 caseload, adding that on one flight some 75% of the deportees tested positive for the virus. [Source/more reading]

how many illegals deported from U.S during coronavirus
Don't continue to rely on the NYPost reporting about the U.S. "allegedly" deporting illegals.

Amazing how some people read “stay at home” and take it to mean “break in to another country.”
