The object of our faith Jesus Christ, He saves.

Those who hold to a "losable salvation" continually want to drop this truth and make it all about some "faith maintenance" as though Jesus has nothing to do with salvation.

Very sad really.
Do these passages "make it all about some 'faith maintenance' as though Jesus has nothing to do with salvation"?

"stand firm in the faith - 1 Corinthians 16:13

"building yourselves up in your most holy faith" - Jude 1:20

"holding on to faith" - 1 Timothy 1:19

"hold firmly to the faith we profess" - Hebrews 4:14

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess" - Hebrews 10:23

"And now, dear children, continue in him" - 1 John 2:28

"see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you." - 1 John 2:24

I only say to do what the scriptures say to do, but you call it a works gospel.

I suggest a really deep study on the word "GIFT"

Do you have quota on how many people you want to confuse/lead astray daily ........ sad that someone @G2RBeliever who perhaps could learn about grace is agreeing with your deceptive dogma.

If you are talking about the Sin Nature of the flesh, compared to Born Again human spiritual NATURE birthed into us by the Holy Spirit; YES the Sin Nature does occasionally raises it UGLY HEAD; YES IT DOES.
The works of the flesh only manifest themselves in those walking after the flesh. This is why the scripture says that those that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its affections and lusts. And if the flesh is crucified, how can sin come to be without the source? Yes, physically the flesh is still present; but we should walk spiritually minded ignoring the desires of the flesh as though it did not exist.

Romans 7 is describing how a person in the flesh struggles to stop doing evil, not a believer who walks in the Spirit. Romans 7-8 is a lesson in the two walks; the Spiritual walk verses the Fleshly walk. As a believer we must be spiritually minded walking in love to fulfill the law.

If we give place to the flesh, then we will fall into the example of double minded man who is unstable in all his ways with no power to stop doing the evil he hates.

Romans 8:4-5
[4] That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [5] For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

I have been saved by the blood of Jesus since 2005,I know about His amazing GRACE!
I'm not confused about the word of God,somes interpretations ....yes!

I'm seeking for us all to have clarity instead of ringing around the roses.

Pulling against one another DELIGHTS the enemy and saddens the Bridegroom.

Remember 10 virgins went out to meet the groom but only five were totally prepared for His coming.

I also know what is debate and discussion since I'm an educator.

One of the fruit of the Spirit is gentleness and self control.

May we all learn from the Lords table not from the crumbs that fall for the dogs!

We are privileged to be His people!

Yes, I agree with you, God will return to deal with Israel during the Tribulation. BUT NOW (Using one of Paul's phrases), Israel has been temporarily blinded. I didn't say it was Plan B, God knew from the beginning (Ephesians 3:9)

The Gospel of the Kingdom that was preached to them during the 4 Gospels and early Acts is no longer valid, as Paul would emphasized in Galatians.

Anyway, if you believe it is still valid today, the question remains, where were the signs and wonders promised to all of us in Mark 16:17-18?
God isn’t dealing with anyone in the Tribulation. The Antichrist will be ruling briefly until Christ comes to remove the remaining faithful ones. Then God will deal with that Antichrist and his followers in wrath.

The “Gospel of the Kingdom” and all the other gospels mentioned throughout the New Testament are the same gospel. Just because the gospel is expressed in different words does not make them different each time.

Regarding the signs and wonders in Mark 16:17-18; clearly we see them in the book of Acts. Why they are not manifest now could be because:

There’s no unity amongst believers (too many denominations).

There’s a lack of faith.

False doctrines abound (the reason for so many denominations).

God only knows why. This generation has the book of Matthew through Revelation; let them hear them.

No contradictions
For the most part James is addressing faith that is evidence before man, not saving faith.
James is writing to believers, nowhere do his letters lay out the plan of salvation, that is not where he concern lays.
Inactive exactly........ just because a bike is missing its wheels it does mean the bike does not exist, it is just not be used and demonstrated.
Faith evidenced before men and God. Nowhere in your reply do you refer to works. James is addressing all believers who claim to have

A more careful reading of James reveals he refers to faith supported by works. In your comment you make no mention of works at all. You are correct James is addressing believers i.e. those who claim to have saving faith. James clearly emphasizes the need for works in demonstration of faith repeatedly. [James 2:17, 24, 26] He even makes the comment that faith alone cannot save a man [James 2:14] also that by works, faith is perfected [James 2:22].

Preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ is ALL about using the correct words. We have to preach Christ's death, burial and resurrection for sins. If I preach today, "The kingdom of heaven is at hand" no one is getting saved. But this was the gospel the disciples were told to preach. Matthew 10.

"Saved" has more than one meaning/application in scripture as it does in any language.
The plan of salvation is settled topic.. that is not what James is addressing.

Paul is very clear salvation is a gift apart from works.

James letter encouraging faith by works in no way nullifies Paul's writing regarding salvation by faith and not by works. Context reveals James refers to faith supported by works, not just words [e.g. Saying I believe, Saying I am saved], whereas Paul clearly means works of Law [Mosaic Law]. May first century Jews believing they could obtain salvation by adherence to the Law. Salvation is a gift an undeserved kindness, something we cannot earn by any amount of works -this is not disputed. That does not alter the fact that faith in that gift has to be demonstrated by works of faith. Otherwise our faith is not a living faith only a verbal claim. Jesus words at John14:15 -If you love me obey my commandments. Obeying Jesus commandments takes positive action. At Mathew 7 Jesus clearly said those ones 'doing' the will of my Father will enter the Kingdom not just those saying I believe.

He
Your believing is only a part of salvation.

Believe all you want .. without an object (Jesus) for that belief, who secures salvation, your ongoing belief is in vain.
does. ot nelieve
As long as you keep believing!
Another lie peddled by Judges like a street organ player in Calcutta with a dancing monkey for coin.....

Works are works are works and NONE save, top off salvation, finish salvation and or keep salvation secure.....Faith is what saves a man eternally.....and las time I checked...Jesus BEGINS, finishes and COMPLETES the work of faith in us....TO SAY we must maintain salvation by maintaining our faith is a satanic lie straight from the pit's of hell....NOT SAYING you are saying this...but a few deceivers on this site DO SAY SUCH contradictatory things....
