i come from a small town in northern alberta and have grew up most of my life poor and happy to know how to help others around me with a few kind words if it helps make their day better.

right now my small hometown of high level, alberta in canada and its is filled with evacuees from flooded neighboring communities. :( now the need for groceries and supplies is higher for high level alberta.
one of the remote

communities have been denied a shipment of supplies they paid for because a law & order is preventing them from receiving it. the funds the canadian government is saying they will release for aid has to be accessed by online technology which a huge barrier portion for most people still don’t even have an email address to verify.

money will not pay for hunger when the shelves are bare, or fix the needed supplies that are needed now this very minute as you read this.

the navajo nation is suffering with all these law & orders from preventing them from beating this pandemic.

my heart truly hurts for my northern and southern brothers and sisters who need help with supplies to get supplies they already have a hard time trying to get.

here are the links from a northern leader voicing what they’re going through and our southern leaders voicing they are trying the best they can to help their communities before the mandatory lockdown.

i have been trying so hard every day to keep myself busy and praying for my kids, family, friends & all people to get through this so we can find a solution.

please pray for light on the corrupt system of north america to help heal all people from living in this invincible border we all know thats there.
thank you for taking the time for reading this and help me make a difference on this m matter we all know that is there.

This is more appropriate for the Prayers or News forum. :) I can ask a mod to move it there, if you'd like. :)

You're not a newbie so I won't welcome you again, because I already did on your other thread.. lol

i apologize too for sounding rude. i am slowly learning how to be online suave and to take time to make sure it is properly posted in the right place.

anyways i was hoping to have some help praying to shed light on the many barriers people face who live on reserves all across north america.

QE2 has the nerve to ask trudeau “ how are MY indians?” in a public broadcasting interview? so there is governments, royalty and just every day people who all treat indigenous people around the world as if we are still less than.

The bible says we fight against principalities and high powers. To me, that means the government and all it's minions.. I don't know why ALL people can't be treated fairly. After all, there's only one race of people: the HUMAN race. :)

Hi Darlene and Welcome.

I do not watch videos, but I will respond regardless.

Why have the Indian chiefs not gone directly to Ottawa and brought this to Trudeau's attention immediately? Why and how could law & order prevent necessities from reaching communities? And if the RCMP are at fault, then they should be sued by your people.

From what I have observed, the Indian chiefs are the primary enemies of their own people (and recently some of them became the enemies of other Canadians with their posturing and blockades). They fatten themselves while their tribes suffer. And the federal government stands by and watches this travesty of justice. Which means that the whole system needs to be overhauled.

The truth of the matter is that for decades (or perhaps 100 years) no federal government in Canada has honestly tried to resolve the issue of the First Nations in Canada, to the satisfaction of everyone. And that is shameful. At the same time, many (or all) of the Indian chiefs have failed to negotiate a fair and just final settlement with Canada, so that there is no further dependence of the Canadian government.

At the same time, it is time for the Natives themselves to say that their traditional system is broken, and they need to make some serious changes as to how their communities are administered. The fat cats should be removed, and that can only be done in a democratic system (if at all). Also, the reserves need to start becoming self-sufficient, and not relying on casinos either.

thank you for your response, i know our own chief and council are corrupt in some reserves but the government refused supplies to be shipped because of rules and regulations. they said that they will send supplies but it’s a matter of approval to release funds. i will be honest; we have people in my own reserve who never even been to town their whole lives let alone have a phone of their own.

its sad the moral of whole communities is dangerously low and to have people who can barely read or write register online is a huge task to set up an email address only to get this ball rolling to release certain relief funds.

the government knows how poor and remote these communities are so getting that done is going to take weeks before any thing gets done.

we have some leaders all over who are physically trying hard to be a team and unfortunately we also have some that abuse that power.

not all of us are corrupt, i just wish for all light to be shed on all corrupt systemically rigged laws that allow much destruction to land.

trying to modernize and educate basically feral people is already hard. i know. i come from there but thankfully i have a loving father who raised me the best way he knew how; he appreciated every child he had.

my own mother still struggles to this day with the effects of residential school. the mental trauma runs deep in almost every person to the point that they don’t care about anything.

i want to change that and give hope to live and to try harder to love each person so they all know they matter

I don't know what's going on with that Darlene. Here in the U.S. the individual States had to smuggle in medical supplies for fear that the fed's were going to confiscate materials that the States paid for. They confiscated 500 ventilator machines from here in Colorado.. I truly don't know what that was about....
