Matt 18: 15 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ 17 And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.

Why is it people do not understand, there is a biblical way to confront a brother who is sinning.. And the way this room is judging a brother here is the LAST way we are supposed to do it?
I guess it’s easy for some people to judge others even while committing their own sins. Funny how that works.

so you have no struggle with any sin whatsoever?

drinking is not a sin, nor is cussing, The sexual issue, well that should be a problem him and his church deals with correct?

I bet if I looked deep into everyone's life like God can, I would see that so many of us have sin issues, and are not as righteous as we THINK we are.

For the record. I asked mr DBurrage what he thoughts were. That if our dear sister, who is an admitted alcoholic. Fell back into that sin, and once again struggled with it. Should she be saved (in response to him asking me about a homosexual) you see. He never responded to me..

yet he continues to judge me.
Right - drinking is not a sin! Agreed! Getting drunk is! Ephesians 5:18 (As I said elsewhere, Lightskin, said "drinking".)

Cussing - It depends what is meant?
The dictionary says cussing is short for cursing - and cursing someone surely is not very Godly!
First thing google says is this: What are cuss words? Profanities can also be called curse ("cuss") words, dirty words, bad words, foul language, obscenity, obscene language, or expletives. It can be called swearing, although this also has a normal meaning of making a "solemn promise". A profanity usually refers to religion, sex, or bodily functions. Lightskin told me he mean 4,8,12 letter words.?? If those words are meant to edify and do good - wonderful! If not, then I don't want him on my property around my children!

Having sex with his girlfriend - should his church deal with it? Absolutely, but if he brings it up on CC I am going to address it as sin!

Do I have struggles with sin? Absolutely, I have struggles with sin, and I have no problem with someone admitting struggle with sin, but I do have a problem with someone who admits sin but does nothing to overcome it. Which is Lightfoot? I don't know for sure. If he wants to overcome it and has a heart for God (as he says), he will want to live in victory over sin.

It's humorous to see one on here hypocritically condemning "divisive behavior" while he hands out "likes" and "agrees" to others when they do this, along of course, with with their blatant lying, daily. Lol! :)

James 5:16
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Where does it say here we are to openly attack a brother who confess his sin?
Thanks for the love, my brother. They can keep the attacks coming; I know who I am in Christ; a sinner saved by grace through faith. Again, sanctification is a process. It’s astonishing how some so-called Christians lose sight of that.

It has been adressed

1. He admitted it is a sin
2. Many people here have admitted it is a sin
3. He has stated he is trying to do Gods will and get help
4. To continue to harass a brother because he did what God asked us to do. which is to confess our sins to one another so we may be healed.. in a CHAT room is not biblical..

Unless of course you want to confess your sins also.. So you too can be healed as James told us too?

No backtracking from me.
Be careful, otherwise you'll find yourself going round in circles.

These people wish to rebuke me for preaching a 'salvation by works' gospel, even though I'm not.
Despite the thread title, I've clarified this repeatedly, but these people keep asking the same questions.

Their persistence has even manifested in personal attacks at times.

As you're now finding out, these people do not think Christians should keep God's commandments.
If you tell them that we should keep God's commandments, they accuse you of preaching 'salvation by works'.

Then, if you point out that they're going round in circles and twisting what you're saying, they accuse you of bearing false witness.

These people are not out to listen and understand, they are out to argue.

My name’s Lightskin, punk. Apparently you’ve conveniently overlooked my consistent acknowledgment of my desire to improve.

And they go around giving each other ‘thumbs up’ and ‘friendly‘ emoticons. It is Romans 1:32 on full display.

yes you are

In your own words. You say we MUST TRY OUR BEST (work)

Whats funny is these two calvinists who seem to love defending you. do not believe trying our best is required for salvation either.. But since they HATE us for calling them out and questioning their belief also.. Well you know the old saying the enemy of my enemy is my freind.

You have yourself attacked others..

This is a lie. again you are bearing false witness..

Then, if you point out that they're going round in circles and twisting what you're saying, they accuse you of bearing false witness.

Same could be said of you

When you continually refuse to listen to others. and continually say things about them which are nt true. You are ARGUING with them

when people try to get you to understand why they say certain things, and you keep getting mad at them, YOU ARE ARGUING.

What you are du=isplayingn here is called hypicrocy.. Your demanding others do something you refuse to do yourself.

“Why did you continue a life of sexual immorality and adultery? You knew what my word said, right?” “Yes, but I just wasn’t sanctified enough yet, and besides, some on CC encouraged me in my sin, so.”

Don't mock Sackcloth-N-Ashes, they had a valid point.
When they falsly accuse someone, they do not have any point

They falsly accused him of saying what he is doing is not sin..or failing to admit what he is doing is sin, Which is wrong
