You sort of have to expect the worst to survive. That’s a major problem. You’re doing a job where survival is key, and when you’re off, well then you’re supposed to relax. Well, it doesn’t work that way, like your friend has also experienced.

I've been seeing videos on Facebook and which peaceful protesters are being arrested
There's even one video in which the police officers are destroying water bottles and medical supplies
they claim they are doing this because people are using water bottles as projectile weapons

No it's about the demlibs and their brat ways .. You don't have any respect for anyone and you think law does not apply to you .. You are lawless and godless .. The blue mayors and governors are lawless and letting criminals out of jail , now they are letting looters out of jail .. I am sure you don't think allowing looting, killing (because that is what is actually happening at the moment) destroying people's livelihood, causing general mayhem and leaving stones and bricks so people can be even more destructive to be the answer.
So what would you do? Isn't he your president also? See, that is a big part of the problem in the US. Trump IS the president whether or not people like it and as such, he has been attacked constantly and lied about with a vigor that would be better employed in the pursuit of problem solving rather than problem creating.
It seems to me, that the reaction is not one of sacrifice here, that is putting others first, but rather demanding one's own way at the expense of many. (that is not directed to you personally).

I don't mean to be rude. This is a hot topic, so forgive me if I come across strongly. This isn't about individuals?! This isn't about David Dorn? This isn't about the countless people who have been beaten, businesses destroyed, cities leveled? How is this not about individuals. I get you hate Trump. But you ignored out of hand what he said in the rose garden. No, it's not a western, it's far, far worse. People have been killed, beaten and their businesses destroyed all in the name of what? Throwing bricks at police, frozen bottles, carrying bats and leaf blowers to blow gas back at police. Is this the beloved America you're talking about?!! When does it come down to personal responsibility? They will not stop. And if you think this is bad, wait till they hand down a verdict the mob doesn't like. When do we stop a mob? None of this is enough to take seriously?! Looting, burning, beating, killing is not enough to bring out force? Missionaries have told me they are astonished and frightened for America, that they are coming back to a country that looks like the one they just left. Americans better wake up and see what's going on. They better look behind the MSM and look behind the curtain before it's too late. Christians need to stop being so gullible and wake up.

yeah, there are some a-hole cops, BUT a handful DOES NOT make them all bad. Has anyone stopped to thank the men (and women) putting their lives on the line, many with families (young children) at home???

Yes, weed out bad cops and put them in prison when it's warranted. But the black community has a far bigger problem that they don't talk about and if you do you're racist. Black on black crime kills far more blacks than white cops do. Why do we know Floyds name but not one of the 191 people murdered in Chicago this year? Abortion kills far more blacks than white cops. A black baby is 5x more likely to be aborted. Why is it wrong to talk about these truths?

We have free will on most everything, except conceiving and birthing ourselves to become Sons and Daughters of God.
I think when John looked down and was shocked to see the state of the Church in Revelation, this massive division was part of the reason.
We are all of the Body of Christ. When we lash out at one another it’s the equivalent of punching yourself in the gut, or slashing your own arm.
“Saul,Saul, why are you persecuting Me?!”
Jesus makes no distinction between Himself and other believers in Him.
Why are we making a distinction?
