Hello there, what are the core values or beliefs that the Christian family agrees on?

That's too broad of a question for me, can you narrow it down?

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.

If there is one supreme core value and belief for Christians it is Christ -- God manifest in the flesh -- and His finished work of redemption. As Paul said "We preach Christ, and Him crucified".

Many who call themselves Christians do not believe that Jesus is God, or they have "another Jesus". Some even equate Him with Michael the Archangel.

We have one poster here who thinks it is funny to have Christ as the supreme core value of Christians. It is truly amazing how much spiritual ignorance there exists today.

We are both Christians, so what are the things that we both agree on in regards to the Bible?

Ok, would you tell me what you believe to be standard and then perhaps discussion can flow from that.

There is a lot in scripture and I don't want to boil any of it down to a simple list/bullet points, that would be exhaustive and ever changing depending on denomination/lifestyle/personal experience etc.

Like, "God hates divorce" would be too simple of a statement without considering additional scriptures. If we can agree on "line upon line and precept upon precept" that would be an excellent start

I also believe that Christ is our supreme core value. Agape is also one of the core values that brings Christians together.

its so simple its ridiculous, the core value of God/the trinity is love. Its that easy. Love encompasses all you need to do. And this notion God hates divorce, he only hates it when people choose the right person but give up when it gets to hard, or they perceive its to hard. There are many circumstance where there is simply no or the choice, then the right person comes along for them. Again, its based on love.

"Here in the now, with such a restless world, the Holy Spirit, being the
greatest neglect in many lives. And, is this not a profound proclamation
put forth in the Divine words...many times!"
'Praise God'
