suppose a man was convicted of multiple counts of lying to Congress & witness tampering, threatening to kill a witnesses' dog & murder him if he didn't also lie under oath.
suppose the man who he lied for, who he threatened to kill others in order to protect -- this man went above the law to get him off the hook.

It was "breaking news" when the SWAT team coordinated an exclusive with CNN to record Roger's live arrest early in the morning. They charged his house with fully automatic assault rifles, clad in body armor, and arrested an unarmed, elderly man for non-violent crimes on national TV... in his pajamas. All of this backset by years of political drama. Democrats were overjoyed.

Fortunately, this is the US where people don't get yanked out of their home and thrown in jail for the rest of their life for lying or intimating threats.

It's better he have a pardon or a dangerous precedent will remain set.

I think this is how Politics go here in America, and probably the rest of the Civilized World........and use that word "civilized" with some hesitation.

As for God and His Word, all mankind will face the Judge one day, and, at that time, they will learn what He thinks of their antics............. I'll leave it to Him.

This IS, however, why I haven't voted for a Presidential Candidate since W's 1st Term.............

I only vote the "bottom of the Ballot" now............

Suppose everyone from the Swamp who lied to (and in) Congress and the Senate was arrested, prosecuted and jailed?

There would be no Democrats in office (and good riddance).

You should be happy that Roger Stone's sentence was commuted. After all the BOGUS CHARGES against Trump and his allies, it is about time that Stone was released and Mueller locked up. Not just Mueller, but all the top officials from the CIA, FBI, DOJ, DHS, State Department, Defense Department, etc. As well as Obama, Clinton, Rice, Lynch, Jarrett, Holder, the Bidens, etc.

What about Pelosi (who tore up the SOTU speech publicly which is a felony) and Schumer? Schumer threatened (slyly) to have Supreme Court justices assassinated, and he is still out there doing his dirty deeds.

so basically what you are saying is that if it was Obama, it would be unjust, and we should be furious, but because it's Trump, it's not, and we should celebrate?

yeah. i kind of figured.

Confused a bit. Since the Roger Stone sentence was commuted, what's the issue? Are we to scream to the winds over something we can't un-do?

why does son of man place his eyes upon the ways of the world? Focus you eyes on your salvation, destiny, Jesus Christ. This world is just a mere bubble, and is about to explode. Look elsewhere where the truth is, not the illusions and lies of the world.

um dont know sounds complicated and doesnt make sense.

I think the Bible would say keep them outside the kingdom of heaven where they can lie all they want and gnash their teeth but they ain't getting in.
They cant bribe the angels either.

well, when you don't like Trump and you think you finally have an 'aha' moment in which you can persuade others to feel the same, well, then you create this op ;)

well I looked up Miss Lynch, the author of the opinion piece you op'ed and she is a dyed in the wool liberal leftist who has been writing hit pieces on Trump for as long as Trump has been the President.

Just a little twisting here and a little misquoting there and you have the type of article that Miss Lynch is known for.

I'll stick to the facts as they are and not as portrayed by Miss Lynch. Mind you, she does author articles of other interests but with less enthusiasm for swaying her audience.

And this deserves special interest also

Why are you bringing the Bible into it? Do you think God has reserved a special place in hell for Trump?

If sin is figured on a scale of some kind, I am positive the Clintons and their like will be way ahead

How is it that people who lean left (I'm not really familiar with your leanings, but it seems you might lean left) always and with alarming accuracy forget about the accomplished and award winning liars that form the Democrat party?

Not holding my breath for an unbiased answer. No, I am not biased, but I can read, I have a great memory, I try to inform myself on both sides of the debate (but truthfully cannot stomach too much of the house these days and that professional harbinger of all things whatever it takes to give her power, Nancy) and I have no dog in this hunt. I'm not American and I do not vote here.

Will you acknowledge that Obama, Biden, Susan Rice, Brennan, and at least a half dozen others should be in jail for life for the crimes, far worse than watergate, they committed in the entirety of the Russian collusion criminal hoax?

If not, your words on politics, carry absolutely zero credibility.

No.

When you don't like how worldly political parties make merchandise of the gospel and of your brothers and sisters, and you think you have an example that makes the fact of it abundantly clear, you make a thread like this.

And then people reply with worldly politics, proving your thesis.

Seems you are merchandising it yourself since for some reason you were not content with just viewing Trump as 'all things bad'

You really took a leap accusing me of not caring about what the world or politics do with the gospel. While you do not say so directly, you intimate it with this post

Lacks credibility when you assume things like that simply because I did not agree with you.

the author of the opinion piece you op'ed
The link in the OP is not an opinion piece.
It has 3 coauthors and it's a brief factual account of relevant happenings, from Reuters, one of the most unbiased newswire services available.

yes. 4 liberal authors. the more the merrier . there are no more totally factual newswire services. I used to respect Reuters actually

Are you unfamiliar with the current climate in so called newsrooms? man! check your facts! :censored:
