I agree that one must never step into dating unless they have marriage in mind because it is just a prelude to fornication without marriage otherwise.

Some people not only want to date for fun but live with each other without being married that and sex before being married is wrong and does not go by the bible.

I meant this in terms of the 'attitude' taken "going into it" (comparatively).

Dating and courting can be one in the same.
If you are courting, you are essentially "going steady" from the first moment that you begin to 'court' [each other] - with a serious focus on the relationship - to answer the question concerning whether or not the two of you are 'compatible' for marriage and willing to enter into taking that 'life' journey together.

It is a bit different than [just] 'dating'.
