I’m sorry that you are feeling like everything is falling apart. When we are stressed it’s almost like we put on these special glasses that only show us the hardest most hopeless path.
A analogy I often use is that a person is standing at the base of a cliff and needs to reach the top. When they are feeling down and depressed all they see is this straight up vertical edge that’s impossible to climb. On the opposite end, when they are busting full of hope they see this elevator that will take them right up to the top. But in the middle is reality. When they commonly look at what’s before them they see the vertical cliff, and they see the elevator but notice it’s out of commission and does not work and it’s ok because they see some steps with a handrail leading up to the top. It’s hard work , and takes determination but it’s possible.
So try to remember that while you’re facing the problems before you. Since the post did not say it’s impossible to do anything more than random speculation of what’s bothering you. But in general these are three things to know.
1. If someone is hurting you then you need to get the cops involved. Don’t let someone make you feel like a slave.
2. Most cities have social assistance programs in place that you can pretty quickly apply for and get approval. These services can help with many things.
3. Like above, there are normally congregations in each town. These churches have people in the flesh that can potentially help immediately. At least there is a lot less hesitation in person than online for many when it comes to helping someone with their needs.
Whatever it is I hope you can find a healthy solution to help ease your stress. Being a single mom can really add a lot of stresses even if the blessing of a child shines brighter than the circumstances.
