Historic! “Diplomatic Breakthrough” President Trump Negotiates Middle East Peace Agreement

Not something we see in MSM circles. No surprise. President Trump should get the Nobel for this. If Al Gore received one for his movie, An Inconvenient Truth, the inconvenient truth being he stole clips from a Hollywood movie in order to make, then certainly Donald Trump deserves to be honored for something far more important than a former Democratic VP and their fake inflammatory feature film.

God bless you President Trump. God bless America and Israel and the UAE in this brokered peace deal.

This is huge! No other president in history has done as much for global peace as President Donald Trump.

Will be interesting to see how all this plays out, and if other Arab Nations join in the Peace Accord.

huh wasnt this predicted by same the bible people who think the antichrist is someone who brokers a seven year peace treaty in the middle east.
and who thinks he is God and people worship this guy as God.

One thing is a constant. People who hate Trump will never give him the credit that is due for this peace deal negotiation. That made history, by the way. That's sad. But it doesn't reflect badly on Trump at least.

The new agreement is rooted in the national interests of both the UAE and Israel, but its implications go far beyond that. Until now, Israel has enjoyed normal relations — i.e. recognition of its existence and the perks that entails, such as embassies, trade, travel and cooperation on security, water and more — from just two Arab countries, Egypt and Jordan. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, like every Israeli premier before him, has made normalizing relations with Arab and Muslim countries a key piece of his diplomatic agenda. This reflects a deeper, long-standing Israeli desire for a normal place in the region.

For Netanyahu, the agreement is a major diplomatic win. Plus it also gives him a way out of a politically tricky corner he had painted himself into, strengthening his tenuous hold on power. In the last two Israeli elections, he had promised his supporters on the right that Israel would annex parts of the West Bank — a move that the Palestinians and the overwhelming majority of the international community consider illegitimate. Due to international pressure and concerns within the Israeli security establishment over the security and diplomatic implications, Netanyahu has been unable to advance annexation. Now he can claim a political victory while extracting himself from the annexation bind.

But this is also a diplomatic boost for the UAE. The small Arab Gulf country is known for its fierce American-oriented posture and its willingness to be a trailblazer on a number of controversial issues despite criticism from some of its neighbors. Furthermore, like many Gulf and other Arab states, it views Iranian activities as the main threat to its national security, and is worried about the American trend — exhibited by both the Obama and Trump administrations — of reducing U.S. involvement in the Middle East. These concerns are also shared by Israel, creating a very strong convergence of interests between the two former enemies.
Still, this move will no doubt see the UAE come under severe criticism from its many foes. Its regional opponents will almost certainly portray the move as a betrayal of the Palestinians. The Palestinian Authority’s own strategy relies on isolating Israel, and this will be seen as a severe blow to the decades-old approach. Additionally, some countries in the region, such as Syria, consider the very recognition of Israel as a betrayal.

Peace with a small portion of the ME isn't a "peace plan". When the anti-Christ steps in there will be total peace in the ME. Total!! If Trump pulls that off THEN you can made snide remarks.

like i said, just like your quote indicates, this is not a really substantial change as much as formalization of a friendly relationship that's been transparently know for a long time, and it is not to be overlooked that Iran will see it as a provocation. this is Shia/Sunni posturing -- doesn't the Bible say "all nations" will be against Israel?

it isn't that i'm not giving credit to some person. it's that i'm being realistic; this is not shocking news any more than it would be if the Sauds formally declared the same congenial relationship they have equally had with Israel for decades. what would be shocking is if some country that's been openly aggressive towards Israel made such a gesture -- a country who has been openly supportive? cool but not actually any kind of surprise. the whole world already knew the UAE is supportive of Israel.

The whole world now knows that the UAE will, due to this agreement, formally recognize the state of Israel. Of which Palestine is a part. In fact there are over 100,000 Palestinians living in the UAE.
This agreement also stops Israel's annexation of parts of the West Bank.

Contrary to what the MSM hopes to lead people to believe, this peace negotiation really is a big deal.

Hmmm. I thought there already was peace. Besides, I don't trust the UAE with anything. That place is like the Disney Land of arab deserts.
