Definitely. When I started getting just a handful of good close friends and mentors, all great brothers in Christ, it really helped me. The other thing that really helped was carrying out the great commission and approaching others and asking them to study the Bible and hear the gospel.

Then online it can also be great to have various friends around the world that can be a encouragement as well. Sort of like how Paul used letters to reach out to the others is how we often use social media nowadays. You can often find great Christians friends that share common interests. Iā€™m really big into hiking as mentioned earlier and going to things like museums of natural history and so I found some other disciples who equally enjoy science. I also really like horror films and now me and a few others meet up once a month or so and watch a movie together and have pizza or something and itā€™s at a house or event center so itā€™s relaxing and great time to bond.

Within time you should definitely be able to cultivate a network of great sisters in Christ.
That all sounds fun! Well, except the horror movies part lol, Iā€™m not much into that genre! I do like hiking too, and also saw one other thread you started about ā€œBiologosā€ (sorry if itā€™s wrong, I canā€™t remember tbh) and found the whole thing very interesting. Even checked the YouTube channel šŸ˜Š

Nice. Itā€™s been a great resource for me. It was things i was already thinking from studying and when I found them they provided a lot of great resources.

How have you been?
My day has been a bit sad. I just buried one of my cats that was 13 years old and Iā€™ve had her for 7 years. I have two other cats that is around 7 months and the other 4 years. About to begin reading through a few books. NT Wrightā€™s ā€œ surprised by hope ā€œ and the other two are by John Walton in his lost word theology series.

If you like the YouTube videos and also like reading they have some great blogs on there and very interactive threads.

Itā€™s definitely sad. Iā€™m glad you have your two. I still have two as well. I dread it too. I thought I already responded but did not see it.

It almost makes me want to just get a parrot or turtle lol. But I like being able to snuggle with a cat or dog. Warm soft little furry buddies seem better than cold blooded scaled bodies or feathers xd. Though some of the pics of snuggling ravens or parrots look cute lol.
