I have a *praise* report to make 
I got a post-op phone call from my surgeon yesterday, who told me I was cured! I did discover while I was in the hospital that he is a funny little man, and when he said that it was in a sort of strange, lilting tone of voice, so I couldn't tell if he was being absolutely serious, but the long and the short of it is, they got the whole cancer, it wasn't as advanced as they thought, and the nearby affected lymph nodes were cancer-free, news which when I told my sister (a retired nurse), she said made her day and she was ecstatic about. I am not sure at this point if I will require more chemotherapy; I have to contact my chemo doctor, because that's a decision for him to make, and what type if I do. I haven't done that yet. I will hear again from my surgeon in a couple of months, at which time I suppose we will discuss reversing what was done to me or part of what was done to me on August 14th
He did say pre-surgery that the tumor had shrunk down (due to chemo and radiation) to being about the size of half a finger. How big it really was before that? I have no idea But he seemed to think it had not gone through the colon wall or maybe had not progressed as far beyond as they had originally thought (scans are not completely clear on these things), and because of that, combined with the fact that the near-by enlarged lymph nodes that were removed were cancer free, he said he was not even sure I had been stage 3. Of course, it is I think possible that the chemo and radiation could have killed any cancer in them (lymph nodes), but I am not sure about that, either. He did say something about it but I can't remember what exactly. He says I can call him at any time so I will at some point just to get more clarity on things like that. It's hard to imagine what it all looks like in there

That's when I decided, that he was a very funny little man

Praise report on our shower repair..... They have been here working for the last two weeks and plumber came and tile guy and gal were here last two days so there is tile in shower and on floor in the bathroom. Haven't seen the shower yet as must stay off the floor until tomorrow and now we need plumber to return and put our faucet and showerhead back on and put toilet back a little paint on the walls and ceiling in the kitchen and call it done. Probably by next Tuesday.... I look forward to a shower in the new one next Wednesday or Thursday.... So thank you Father In Heaven for the quick work of the shower repair.
Now we just need to sell the house and head to Tennessee.. Must find a place to stay that will allow three cats and three people...plus a mover...to get us there.

Still have a lot of packing and cleaning to do which that is the hard part as I don't breathe so well and can only do a little and rest a little and rest repeat and short on cash that I need to hire a cleaning person to help me...
We will be o.k. eventually because just a bunch of things like car insurance, me having a root canal and crown replacement for my tooth, shower repair the part that insurance doesn't cover etc that hit all at once. We get a paycheck every week from Jerry's job just need to get more green in the house faster than it has been going out and that is the cut it close part. But God has kept us going and we are not behind on anything. I am thankful for that too.

Oh Lord, you created our bodies and the way we are meant to breathe. What ever is not functiioning in JesusLives body that is not causing her breathing to be the way it is meant to be correct it and heal it so that it lines up with your brilliant design. Let her frequent having to rest be a thing of the past in the name of Jesus. Amen
