Totally beat me to it.
My brother I fellowship with just woke up speaking this verse the other day.
Dident even know what it was.

Now He is looking to lay hold of eternal life by just knowing God and Jesus and letting it flow from that.

He was surprised to hear the connection between obedience to his lordship and knowing God or the obedience to his lordship and having Christ and God come dwell with you.
As he related it, it is getting rid of everything in the way of the relationship.
Amen I
Believe if someone studies the gospel much at all there’s no question who the lord is and the thing is he is so so so Good

I am still waiting to see someone show me in the bible where it says invite Jesus into your heart.

What I do see is this.

Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.
John 15

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

And I (Jesus) in him

It doesn't say Jesus in his heart but it say Jesus in him

People will interprate in him mean in his heart, not in his body.

Those which were done with the right motives, with the love of God being expressed, and for the glory and love of God and Christ.
Why was the unprofitable servant cast into the outer darkness
Since he was called a "wicked servant" he was not really saved. Just a professing Christian. Similar to the ones who said "Lord, Lord" but were not "known" by Christ.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Rev 3:10)

What is this "door" other than the door of the heart and soul?

ROMANS 10: CALLING UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD TO BE SAVED
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

As Jesus said "BE NOT FAITHLESS BUT BELIEVING".

Amen! The fact that the latter man in this parable is called "wicked" and "lazy" and an "unprofitable" servant (Matthew 25:26-30) who is "cast out into outer darkness," certainly indicates that he was not a true disciple of the master. The idea of this illustrative parable is that all true believers will produce fruit in varying degress. All genuine believers are fruitful, but not all are equally fruitful. (Matthew 13:23) Those who produce no results at all were not truly converted.

The first two servants deposited their talents with the bankers (Matthew 25:27) but the third servant buried his talent in the ground. (Matthew 25:25) The third servant had been given a talent according to his ability and the opportunity to believe and bear fruit in accordance, but chose to reject it. This man's characterization of the master maligns him as "reaping and gathering what he had no right to claim as his own." This wicked so-called servant does not represent a genuine believer and it's obvious that he had no true knowledge of the master. Two of these servants were children of God, but not the third. Children of God are not cast out into outer darkness.

*The fact that this man is called a "servant" does not necessarily mean that he was saved. *The children of Israel were called "servants" but they were not all saved.

Leviticus 25:55 - For the children of Israel are servants to Me; they are My servants whom I brought out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

Isaiah 43:10 - “You (Israel vs. 1) are My witnesses,” says the Lord, And My servant whom I have chosen..

Romans 14:10-12 10You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat. 11It is written: "'As surely as I live,' says the LORD, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.'" 12So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.

2 Corinthians 5:10 10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

Matthew 12:36-37 36But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. 37For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."

“Is not this the fast that I choose:
to loose the bonds of wickedness,
to undo the straps of the yoke,
to let the oppressed[b] go free,
and to break every yoke?
7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry
and bring the homeless poor into your house;
when you see the naked, to cover him,
and not to hide yourself from your own flesh?
8 Then shall your light break forth like the dawn,
and your healing shall spring up speedily;
your righteousness shall go before you;
the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer;
you shall cry, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’
If you take away the yoke from your midst,
the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,
10 if you pour yourself out for the hungry
and satisfy the desire of the afflicted,
then shall your light rise in the darkness
and your gloom be as the noonday.

The attitude is most important " Luke 18: 17. "Verily I say unto you, whosoever shall not receive the Kingdom of God AS A LITTLE CHILD shall in no wise enter therein". Therefore, the heart, being the seat of the emotions, and intents, it stands to reason that excepting Christ involves more than lip service, but a humility that involves the heart.

Yep, you may help the poor but not out of love.
Help must out of love.

Help may love may just for fame

But love mean help.

Snake is animal

But animal may not snake.

1 cor 13

3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

One may give all they have but not out of love, mean nothing in God eyes

Loving work like what Jesus did to us

Not so. The text says he WAS A SERVANT of the Lord, but without any works of righteousness. James warns of the same thing, "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith, without works is dead also". In other words, God requires interest in what he has invested in us. A tree that does not bare fruit has no value.

faith has to come from believing what God said . Abraham was told “ go out to a place I will show you later and I’ll make a great nation of you I’ll make you the father of many nations “

Abraham believed Gods word so the automatic action is to do it . That’s faith it has to be in what it is God said to do and what will happen if we do it .

like Noah . God gave him grace then he told him” I’m going to flood the earth you make an ark you will be saved and I’ll begin a new covenant with you “

Noah believed God was going to destroy the earth so the Soto magic action is to do it.

We’re losing the sincerity of things because we refuse to believe what the lord Jesus Christ said to do and what will happen if we do trust in and follow after him through his word his view of things

God only honors what God does in you and through you, providing that your Faith is placed and maintained exclusively in Christ and Him Crucified. Not what we do.

Grace only flows when my faith is in the death of Jesus (Christ Crucified). The Holy Spirit will deliver this believer into the death, burial, Resurrection of Christ, and His Ascension. Rom. 8:2, Rom. 6:3-5, 2 Cor. 4:11-12, Gal. 2:21, Ephesians 2:6

As servants of Righteousness (Romans 6:18), and the only way we can continue to serve that Righteousness is by the Grace of God (Galatians 2:21). This means the Grace of God is flowing into that Believer because their Faith is placed and maintained exclusively in Christ and Him Crucified. If the Believer Faith is not in Christ and Him Crucified (the death of Christ who loved us and gave Himself for us - Galatians 2:20, 1 John 4:9-10) you are out of the will of God. Which means we have removed ourselves from Him (Galatians 1:6).

All works must be produced and birth by the Holy Spirit or it is dead works, rotten fruit! (wood, hay, stubble) - 1 Cor. 3:12-15.

Everything that man does die; everything Jesus does lives forever and is blessed (Psalms 1:3).

If it's done in the flesh, it will consume the person, i.e., "the bush"; however, if it's done by the Power of the Holy Spirit, the bush will burn and not be consumed (Exodus 3:2, Romans 8:2).

We live by what Jesus Christ did by Grace through Faith who loved us and gave Himself for us at the Cross of Calvary where the victory was won (Rom. 6:3-5, Philippians 1:21); His Obedience (Philippians 2:8, John 10:18), His Faith (Gal. 2:20-21), and His Love (Faith works by Love -Gal. 5:6). It is not our obedience, not our faith, and not our love, that we live by (Rom. 8:2, Gal. 2:18). We are united with Christ, therefore, God doesn’t rehabilitate us, He eliminates us. The Holy Spirit moves in to give us the power to live Holy that causes us to walk in the newness of life (Ezekiel 36:26-37, Romans 8:11). Only by Faith in the Blood of Jesus have we been given eyes to see (John 3:3-5) and only Faith in the Blood of Jesus will you continue to be able to see and not go blind again (2 Peter 1:9).

Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown (DO NOT move away from our Faith in Christ and the Cross). Rev. 3:11

That was to a disobedient church, not to unbelievers.
Not true. It was a "professing" church of those claiming to be Christians but not truly saved (born again). Here is what is said about the church at Laodicea, and all these terms can only be applied spiritually to the unregenerate:

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

1. Let's start with "naked" and the need for "white raiment". The Bible is clear that the white raiment represents the imputed righteousness of Christ given to the one who is justified by grace through faith. All those in this church needed white raiment because they were spiritually naked. They needed to be justified (saved) by grace.

2. Next let's go to "blind". Those who are devoid of the Holy Spirit are spiritually blind and cannot understand the things of the Spirit. But the indwelling Holy Spirit leads genuine believers into the deep things of God, and opens their spiritual eyes to the truth. The "eye salve" is a metaphor for the Holy Spirit.

3. Next lets go to "wretched". All sinners are wretched because even under the best conditions they are under condemnation. Believers can never be wretched because they are children of God (regardless of circumstances).

4. "Miserable" speaks of a guilty conscience. All humans beings are guilty of breaking the Ten Commandments, and all deep down know that they sre guilty before God. Hence they are miserable. But believers have had their sins and guilt remitted when they repented and turned to Christ. And God has also made provision for Christian to deal with their present sins through the blood of Christ.

5. "Poor" speaks of spiritual poverty and that no matter how rich a person in on earth, unless he possesses the riches of Christ, he remains poor. But believers have an eternal inheritance reserved in Heaven (gold tried in the fire) simply because they are heirs of God. So they are indeed rich even though poor on earth.

So it should be crystal clear this church needed to be born again. And that only happens when an individual repents and receives Christ into his heart as Lord and Saviour. Christ was standing outside the door of this church, which proves that those people were unregenerate. You claimed that there was no Scripture confirming that the unsaved must invite Jesus into their hearts. And you were proven wrong. So now you need to address your theology.

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink:

I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:31-40‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Hello PilgrimsHope!

Just fyi, that judgment that you have listed above is the sheep and the goat judgment which takes place after the Lord returns to the earth to end the age. The sheep is referring to the great tribulation saints who make it alive through the entire seven years and is not the church.

I am not agree.
Jesus is the only way for salvation.
On that judgement jesus decided those people into 2 group

1. Goat that is how to hell
2 sheep that is save
Hello Jackson123!

The church is not judged at the sheep and the goats judgment which takes place when the Lord returns to the earth to end the age. Believers within the church will have already been judged at the Bema seat of Christ which takes place after the church is caught up and changed immortal and glorified. In fact, Revelation 19:6-8, 14, shows that the church, the bride of Christ, following the Lord out of heaven riding on white horses and wearing her fine linen, white and clean, which she will have received at the wedding of the Lamb, as described in Revelation 19:8

The sheep will be the great tribulation saints who will have made it alive through the entire seven year tribulation period. At that time they will still be in their mortal bodies and along with Israel and will enter into the millennial kingdom and repopulate the earth. Below are some of the judgments which will take place:

* Bema Seat of Christ judgment - This is where the church is judged, not for sin, but to receive rewards or loss of rewards and which takes place in heaven. (2 Corinthians 5:10)

* Sheep and goats Judgment - This is the Judgment of the great tribulation saints and the wicked who make it alive through the entire tribulation period, which takes place after Christ returns to the earth to end the age at the onset of the thousand years

* Great white throne judgment - This is the judgment of all people throughout all of history who died in their sins and who will be resurrected to stand before God (their spirits being released from hades) where they will be held accountable for all of their sinful deeds and which takes place in heaven. (Revelation 20:11-15)
