This 'news' is about 2 days old.
The report was in the NZ herald about a church gathering that appeared to break the rules and is part of the current virus cluster growing in Auckland.

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=12363636

what do you think. Its claiming people continued to worship in groups of more than 10 under lockdown and thus spread the virus and they wouldnt get tested because they didnt trust science.

There was another report on how much money the church took in last year ...like the journalists went through the annual reports etc. But i dont know what thats got to do with anything. I think if people want to give they can give however much they want. Its not like ONE person is getting all that money.

Not sure what to say about how accurate it is as I am not part of the mt roskill evangelical church though anytime someone mentions 'church' people think that means all believers...but most churches I know have been meeting online or in small groups and arent defying govt rules and restrictions.

there was also a cluster linked with a wedding of course that took place in a church. But last time it was rest homes and restaurant wedding gatherings that were worst hit.
