So I’m going off memory, but I was thinking about it, and I think this couple needs prayer, very much.
So my mom yesterday was talking to one her friends, because her friend was visiting us as she and my mom were about to go on a walk for exercise/to chat. So my mom was talking about one of her friends from a book club, and apparently her friend’s son, after a 6 year marriage had his wife tell him: “I know I’m a lesbian”
So from what I know, their marriage has been rocky, my mom was saying according to her friend they have been in couple therapy ever since they got married and apparently their marriage has been having “sexual problems”. One thing I found interesting, so it was my mom, one of my mom’s friends, and the friend with the son having marriage problems. They were talking at Book club and the one friend, just so happened to have a brother that had some issues with his sexuality saying: “I think I’m gay”. What my mom was saying they got out of it is that there is a huge difference between saying “I think I’m gay” versus “I know I’m gay”, which means the wife who said that, might have done something, we are not assuming, but the way you word things can change how the situation might look.
Also, another weird thing, even though the wife said that, she still wants to be married to her husband. I asked my mom if the wife wants to polyamorous, but my mom said she doesn’t know. My mom was describing it, as she heard from her friend having this issue, that it’s probably because the husband (Which is my mom friend’s son) is just “very nice” as in asking how his wife day was and whatnot, so it sounds like to me that he provides that “girl-ness” that his wife wants. Not saying he is gay, but this whole situation sounds really complicated, and apparently the son has apparently been apathetic to his wife saying this stuff, saying she can do whatever she wants.
So I don’t even know this couple, and I’m not entirely sure if I know the mom friend that is having this problem, I don’t even know if the couple/friend are Christian, but regardless their situation sounds very bad, so that’s why I’m saying I think they need prayer, doesn’t matter if they are Christian or not, when someone is suffering, they need prayer.
If anyone wants me to get more “clear details”, I can probably ask my mom later.
