I am very sorry you're going through this JBaptist, praying for your safety and that they will desist. Some people just don't care about anyone and want to make everyone's life worse. It's a very sad life purpose to be serving. Praying for God's unwavering protection over you in Jesus' name.
Thank you. All of the prayer support is appreciated. God will get them on judgment day, certainly.

WOW. Well, they may be reprobate, but they sound pretty skilled if they can figure out how to break through your ISP's security (I know that free, ISP security is normally not the best, but still, you'd think it would good enough to stop your neighbors from hacking you).

Will your ISP allow you to turn their router into a bridge into your own router instead? That way you would probably have a more powerful WiFi signal, as well all but unbreakable WiFi security (that you control).

Or you could keep their router, turn the WiFi off, and just go hard wired instead.

I've already gone that route. Thanks for the ideas though.

Hello brothers and sisters, this statement has a LOT to do with trusting God, obviously, and the more that I've come to know and understand God over the years, the more I've become convinced that this is some of the best advice that I've ever been given.

What say you? Pros/Cons?

BTW, I believe that Dr. Ferguson's quote is also an excellent and practical way to help us better understand and apply Proverbs 3:5-6 to our daily walk.

God bless you!

Yes! I have been called to do something most unusual, but as an act of obedience I have done so, although I have also done the opposite, as its hard to discern at times who is speaking to me . I guess its part of this journey of self discover and having faith in the Lord.

Yes I know what you mean.
Things we would say no too God say yes to..so we do it in obedience to him.
Things we would say yes to God says no too...so we don't do it in obedience to him.

when God speaks, there will NEVER be a personal question about it!!!
it's a done 'deal', with (no questions asked)...
later on, some things may start to creep in, BUT, your spirit already
knows this is coming and is prepared to help you 'over-come'...

Hello everyone,
The same old stuff going on here. However, yesterday, one of the young, expensive car driving, thinks he"s is the greatest, black drugsters (dealer, etc.) made a mistake in front of a law enforcement type. He did not know that person was there and just about really messed up. However, it was just more verification. God worked this in an interesting way. They tend to hang out in the alley around this one house and across the alley at an apartment complex across. This morning, two patrol cars were out and coming up the alley. I don't know what was going on, but the officers were not happy.
These people are ghetto. And, they bring there ghetto life style with them. This was a much better area before they started showing up. Some never lived in the ghetto, but, that life style is lived anyway. I'm typing this and I can hear, periodically, a youngish black male speaking.
The officers know how stupid these kinds of people are, but they can only do so much. On a side note, they guy that made the mistake would not have any reason to try to speak to me unless he was one of the low life roof stalkers. So, I think it is very likely. And, he has a laughably high self opinion. So, I'll let you know where it goes from here.

That is a rather broad declaration don't you think? Be obedient to what? God? Man's law? What?
Ferguson doesn't say in that excerpted quote. Without context the remark is meaningless.

Dear WiFi thief. We see you. Watch what happens. :)

J, Have you considered moving? Unfortunately unless I pay money to this site I can't contact you privately. That's a new one for any forum I've seen.
And being you have an alley rat stealing your Wifi and eavesdropping I can't give you my contact information.
I'll ask this though and see if I can get it across.
Peaked or flat?
Imagine lightly nailing new covers where rats perch if peaked. Imagine the screams as they slip and fall to their deserved doom having trespassed one too many times.

The Bible, God's word, lists things that are to be done and not be done.
Some of it is guidance, others are, thou shalt not.
If human laws allow anything that is against what is written in God's word, don't do it.

Galations 5 has a list of the kinds of things people do that will not inherit the Kingdom of God. And, there is the ten commandments in Exodus 20, etc.
If a thought that is no good, enters your mind, just cast it out like the trash it is. And, we obey God's word because we want to . Obeying God's word just to not go to hell will get you in hell because that would be by works.

God's wants His people to love and obey Him. When you want to do right by God because you love and understand His word, it is much easier than just doing because you have to to avoid eternal damnation.

Are you able to arm yourself if need be?
Have you considered moving?
Yes to the first question and I'm not going anywhere, they'd, the psychos, would just follow anyway. These are very mentally sick people. I'm in my house, minding my own business and swamp cooler running. Pot smoke came into the house from the psychos on the roof. I told them to take their pot and go to the devil, so to speak and the smell has gone, but I need to was my arms and face because I'm itching. Be right back.

Like roaches.
God be with you.
God sees them too. Threatening one of his children.
Watch what happens. Prayer warriors see you brother and hold you in prayer.

Hello Soggykitten, you are correct. That's why I included a bit of commentary in the OP, hoping to point out the link between the meaning of his quote and our admonishment & need to trust God, w/o giving too much else away (I wanted to hear what others thought about the quote from their POV). I also thought it prudent to do so as I'm sure that there are many who do not know who Dr. Ferguson is (a Scottish theologian and pastor).

So yes, choosing to always be obedient, "to God", even when you do not know where such obedience may lead you (was the principle point .. IMHO anyway).

Does that help  If not, let me know and I'll try again.

God bless you :)

I did read the scripture that was added to the declaration in the OP. Sinclair's quote is ambiguous because it lacks context, which is why I asked for clarity being the scripture that was included in the OP could be taken either way. Be obedient unto God. Be obedient unto man, by letting your light shine, (scripture).

We know we should be obedient unto God but are not always and are indeed incapable of being fully so because we are still humans operating on this earthly mortal plane where God permits Satan to roam about seeking souls to devour.
Thanks for your post.
God bless.
