  • “Arise, O Jehovah, disappoint him, bow him down; deliver my soul from the wicked by Your sword. from men by Your hand, O Jehovah, from men of the world whose portion is in this life, and whose belly You fill with Your treasure. They are satisfied with sons, and will leave their riches to their babes.” (Psalms 77.13,14).

Do you fancy the most Jesus or the passing things of this world? We fancy hanging out with friends, amusing watching movies, playing games, etc. Nevertheless, what about Jesus?

  • We crave for being alone with Jesus?
  • We yearn for praying in order to feel His presence and have the privilege of hearing His voice?
  • We long for meditating on the Holy Scripture only for the pleasure of knowing His will for our lives and, thus, don’t take any chances of doing something that sadden His heart?
  • Whose company do we wish for: of those who feel like doing worldly thing to have fun or of those who flee from youthful lusts, and , with a pure heart, call on the Lord, always seeking out to follow righteousness, faith, love, peace (2Tim 2.22)?
  • Do we get together with the brothers and sisters in Christ because we long for seeing them, so that we may impart to them some spiritual gift in order to establish them (Rom 1.11), or merely to carry out a painful obligation?

Think on it, have a nice weekend, and take care.
