Not wise to take all scriptures literally - better to prayerfully compare them to decide more accurately what the Bible teaches on things

in Jeremiah and Hebrews, it tells us just 'what the N.C. is ALL ABOUT!!!
HEB. 10:16.
This is the Covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith The Lord,
I will put My Laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them';

And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more'.
JER. 31:31.
Behold, the days come, saith The LORD, that I will make a New Covenant with The House of Israel,
and with The House of Judah:

Not according to the Covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand
to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which My Covenant they broke, although I was an Husband unto them, saith The LORD:

But this shall be the Covenant that I will make with the house of Israel;
After those days, saith The LORD, I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts;
and will be their God, and they shall be My people.
the OT and the NT are God's Word, and they 'agree'...

Repay or do not Appreciate it. As for sinless perfection, - HE is our perfection 🥰. It brought both a great relief as well as being challenging to find this out. Hope it encourages someone x

True as you say - He is our perfection - we are incapable of that perfection ourselves in our flesh! And yes, that is a relief to know - always!

We actually need a spiritual understanding of the scripture and not a literal understanding. In those metaphors, we see spiritual truths lined in them.

God is our perfection, that is why we derive our own perfection from him when we honestly and continually lean on him as a belt cleaves on our waist. We are or can be complete in God even in our flesh -- right here on earth. if we sincerely follow the understanding our Lord Jesus delivered to us.
