So honestly I do not know exactly the accuracy of the simpsons predicting the future and haven't really put to much stock in it but I do think it is kind of odd how they accruately predicted certain things such as Trump being president way before he even ran and yes they say if you do enough episodes of anything then your bound to get some things right but scientifically is this is impossible
According to science if you take one action od do one thing the results of what that action does could end up having over 6 million the hundred and forty five different out comes and that is based on that action alone not anything that could affect it outside your own action such as the actions of others the weather accidents ect. so there are literally infinite possibilities to the out come and thus even if we were to base it on an episode of the simpsion with them claiming to have done so many episodes it has a .000002 percent of being exactly right in predicting without any insight or inside knowledge

This was always something I was curious about but never really thought it was important enough to research, then I was watching hulu last night because I finally was able to get my account back after forgetting the email and password to my account and the first thing that showed up as the latest halloween episode of the simpsons talking about making fun of the elction for 2020 so I was like ok might well give it a shot.

It goes on to begin with homer forgetting to vote and falls asleep after his wife nags him about how this is the mosat important election in history and will shape the future and he says to himself eh what could happen.
Then it goes to show January 20th 2021 where the world is in ruin robots are walking around and the four horsemen of the apocalypse shows up
This actually got my attention because even though I have felt and seen the signs of coming disaster and destruction and how close we are to the actual tribulation I still have been doing lots of studies on bible prophecy and God has lead me to study biblical numerology not the false occult one in my studies there are certain numbers that spoke to me and two of them was 20 and 21
20 as expected many claim how it represents sight revelation unveiling of the hidden and in this year alone not just me but many others who the holy spirit has actively been working and unveiling things and experiencing things we never have before has rang true but it also represents a trial, a period of waiting and if it is successfully completed, the reward is generous and full of God’s love, in other case the punishment is just and right.

@1 however represents sin and God dealing with the sin and corruptness of man with his judgment and wrath which made me of course wonder if the year 2021 might be when the tribulation truly begins but then saw this episode and was like that cannot be a coincidence but again I am not sure how reliable the simpsons predicting the future really is

Honestly the Simpsons are probably more accurate than many of the prophecies I have watched on You Tube esp on Sid Roth. I used to like watching him but not any more. His guests have prophecised so many things this year and none of it came to pass. I think he gets caught up in the hype and that's all it is. Then he calls on these same prophets and they get thing after thing wrong. At least the Simpsons have got some things right and some pretty major ones too. Makes you wonder how??

I'm not sure how 2021 is going to turn out. It may be the same, get worse or improve. Only God knows. I do know that after 911 people were saying that the tribulation would be starting and 2020 we are still here so I really don't know.

If the whole planet was to be blasted into smithereens in the next 5 minutes, what difference does it make to us? You have already laid your life down before God no matter what comes, so you can be resurrected into eternal life. It's those that are living that should actually be worried, because their lives and joys and pleasures will be taken away from them when their time comes.

Here's one for everyone who is stressed and worried. Worrying can't change one hair, black or white.
I think we need to pursue God's peace in this stressful time and remember Jesus' words about the birds. And turn the TV fearmongering off. We can only push the world in a positive direction when we are filled with His spirit, anything else seems like effort is being made, but is not helping.
God, help us accept with Your peace and with praise whatever comes this day, let us abide in You in every moment, and set us free of fruitless worries about the future. Amen.

In my philosophy? Did you even you read my post? I specifically said how I don't really put to much stock in this kind of thing and even at the end said I don't really know how reliable it is.

Yeah and even then it was kind of like how you have to squint your eyes to make something look different although this is of course not a topic I made in seriousness I kind of wanted to know what everyone else thought and if it was even possible at all

Honestly I enjoyed that episode
Reminds me of an older episode where The Simpsons fall asleep in church and dream that they're characters from the Bible. Then this happens at the end of it.

I love Homer and Bart. But other than the Simpson family, I have a fondness for Apu.

My post was not personal to you at all ... it was just what some people think... the quote from Shakespeare just demonstrates that belief that some hold.

Wow everything sure is personal these days.

If you want to speak about this kind of thinking and it is genereralzed to people with that kind of belief and it isn't personal then maybe don't quote my original post otherwise yes does appear personal

I am just saying make your directive more clear otherwise it can easily be misinterpretated you have to remember on a forum you can't hear the persons voice or tone and there is a basic online etiquette that normally if someone quotes you in response to your post they are speaking to you unless you clarify in that response it is a general speaking tone

I vote Maggie.

In one episode she really wanted to be baptised and live with the Flanders but Homer didnt let her.

It turned out the simpsons were lutheraterians, though it seemd Homer converted to catholicism for a while, which didnt change things much. Lisa got involved with wiccans, and Bart, well he just stayed a brat.

It was Marge that proved to be the anchor of the family. Not sure what shes got hiding in her blue beehive hairdo though.

In one of the simpsons movies Bart almost lived with them too, he found everything in Ned he always wanted in Homer, as for her hairdo there are many who believe it's rabbit ears from the nucluar radiation all over spring field but it's just hair and the fact people try to prove it's not is just silly she wears her hair down several times in the show

When I was 18yoa (1972) I was 6'4" so my HS prom date got the same kind of doo as Marge (in blonde). I had wavy hair and wore a crushed purple tux w/ wide lapels, bow tie & bell bottomed slacks. She wore a pink floor length gown. We were a sight.
