Well the main point is that he did not regard God when seeking help for his disease. I'm just going based off of what I've been reading in scripture and have not read a commentary that further elaborates the culture, or medical practice of that time.

רָפָא
rāp̱a‛: A verb meaning to heal, to make fresh. It describes the process of healing, being restored to health, made healthy, usable, fertile: of Abimilech's household being restored to fertility (Gen_20:17); of physical and spiritual healing (Isa_53:5); of wounds being restored (Lev_13:18; Jer_15:18); of water being restored to a healthy state, drinkable, wholesome (2Ki_2:21-22); of the repair, restoration of an altar (1Ki_18:30); of many diseases being healed (Deu_28:27, Deu_28:35). In its participial forms, it refers to a person who acts as a physician, a healer: God, the Lord, as Israel's healer (Gen_20:17; Exo_15:26; Job_13:4). It describes the restoring of a person's soul, life (Psa_41:4 [5]). In an emphatic construction, it indicates having a person healed, cared for (Exo_21:19). It is used in its reflexive infinitive to note a purpose, in order to be (get) healed, from (min) wounds inflicted in battle (2Ki_8:29; 2Ki_9:15). God alone was able to heal the wounds of His broken people (Hos_5:13; Hos_6:1; Hos_7:1). A true leader in Israel was to heal, care for the people of Israel (Zec_11:16).
I'm also not throwing out all the doctors, but I do question the curriculum from which they practice. There's ways to prevent a good majority of ailments through good nutrition, posture, and movement. Let's be honest, we play ignorant about our sinful lifestyle and just seek a quick fix. Totally ignoring that eating junk, staying sedentary, or even improper movement over time drags us down. That's just fact! We have been conditioned over time to just take the quick fix and actually lack the proper knowledge to take care of ourselves. Instead we just go to the doctor, or go get drugs. This has just been my personal experience in the fitness industry, which is my passion. Taking vaccines don't seem logical to me, especially when we understand that we already have an immune system
that creates it's own antibodies. But somehow we're going to speed the process up by injecting a concoction of chemicals into our bloodstream? I don't know. lol
