Celebrating Taco Tuesday in STYYYYLEEEEE :cool::cool:

Servings: 4
  • 3 chicken breasts, shredded (I boil mine and then shred)
  • 3/4 cup white onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 can of diced green chiles
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • Hard Taco Shells
  • Mexican shredded cheese
  • Shredded lettuce
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Head a large frying pan over medium heat. Add in the olive oil and chopped white onion. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add in diced tomatoes and green chiles. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add in shredded chicken, taco seasoning and 1/3 cup of water. Stir and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, place taco shells standing up. If you are following the 21 Day Fix meal plan, use 1 green container to fill two taco shells.
  6. I used 1/4 cup of Mexican cheese for every two tacos.
  7. Bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and starting to brown.
  8. Top with shredded lettuce and enjoy!

Yummeeee.

Our neighbors taught us this neat trick of making your own pizzas. You use a wrap as a base and top it with all your goodies. Bake it for 10-15 minutes and whoala. Healthy pizza...

And now, I am hungry :)

Yep! That's how I make my pizza, but I also bake my tortilla BEFOREHAND for a few minutes to get it crunchy.

What's your favorite kind of pizza?

We don't eat pork but macon (beef bacon) is good on pizza with mushrooms, cheese and chicken.

My wife will add more vegetables :)

Do you not eat pork for personal reasons or just don't like the taste of it?

Never had macon, maybe I'll try that!

Your wife is a smart woman :) Vegetables taste delicious on pizza. Have you guys had white pizza before?

okay, now that just reinforces this craving I am having for a Burger King Whopper.
But that looks even better than a whopper.......
what is it and where can I get one?
JUST. DO. IT.

Follow your dreams ;)

This is Steer Burgers. A SA brand burger. Basically the same as Burger King but maybe a bit better :p

I don't eat pork for two reasons:

1) The Bible tells me so ;)
2) I found out how bad pork meat is for you. Our Pastor's brother still have the worms eating away at his brain as a result of pork meat :( .

The other thing is after not eating it for a while the taste is overwhelming if you eat it again. I can smell and taste it for a day or two after I ate it now. Not a fan anymore ;)

 actually looks better.
Is that some sorta BBQ sauce on the bottom?
Yes it is a barbeque sauce, and the burger is flame grilled.

A very delicious burger... but their fries are the best :coffee::giggle:
