I hate movies as a first date! I think first date should be about talking and getting to know each other.

I recently went out on a date to where the guy took me to dinner, and because the date went well for him, we went to an adult arcade :)

I had to let him down kindly, though. There really was no romantic connection.

It could of been worse, he could have been a spy and you found yourself in a foreign nation instigating a coup d'etat on some random third world nation

haha me too
I refuse on principle to go on them but if I do, I know there will be no second date.

If hes wearing a t shirt that has anything to do with Star Wars, or mentions it in conversation you dont need to say anything. Just roll your eyes.

Otherwise you could be there for hours.

That's half the fun of it. I like to take my time evaluating my date without being prematurely categorized myself. So a good "off guard" is my favorite method. It might sound creepy to some but it actually works.
