Yes I agree. It my be that being an old man I am just not as good at conveying my intentions as well as you younger people. I wondered why you would think that I thought that the "holocaust means Jews only" so I went back to post #15(my first post to you) to see if it I worded it incorrect my intention in explaining singular verses plural "Holocaust(s)" is because I was concerned the many others(including these you named) were being forgotten but I'm glad you understand it includes many races and religions. I also noticed I miss added in the math(lol, forgive me I'm old).

This all seems a lifetime away to me now it makes me remember when my uncle came home from the war. He was in the Navy and suffered from shell shock(bombs blowing up close by) and so he would be talking and twitch his head and grin. I was a boy(10,11) and so I thought he was picking at me and I did it back to him,my mom gave me a good talking to and explained to me why. A man who was a German POW lived next door and filed for citizenship after the war told me that every German was not that way. He told me that he was taken into the Army(by force) at 17 and by the time he was captured he had didn't want to go back because of what he saw. In a while all the old ones who remember those days will be gone and people will think what they think in many ways it seems they already do.
I will be 100 in less than three years and I have heard Hitler speak on the radio. I don't understand German, but that voice was terrifying.

Most people I knew didn't know he was killing people for quite awhile, it was a terrible shock. Many ordinary people carried out his order to kill. That meant that it was possible for some of our countrymen to be turned into killers.

Readers Digest reported a study done at a hospital in the US to test people to see if they would obey orders to harm people if they thought they came from an authoritative source, and reported that some people would do that. Of course, they weren't allowed to carry out the orders.

Denying Christ is such a major, heart breaking thing to do. Their scholars predicted the coming of the Messiah using scripture they so misread. They still believe that the Messiah will be the secular government of the people, saying scripture tells them so. Knowing that, I do not believe any of our scholars telling just how the Messiah will return, only that He will and we can trust Him.

But I've checked to see if we have things in common with the Jews, and we have so many things in common. They believe in the forgiveness of sin that can only be through grace. They also believe they must pay for their sins in the secular world a sort of if you steal God will forgive you but you must go to jail. God has promised never to forsake them, I so hope that means God will save them. Paul morns for them, but there is no scripture that tells they all may not live.

Looking at all of the post made over the years here it seems that not everyone sees the covenant(S) the same. I notice some(many) see the NC in effect but only for those who see Jesus as the Messiah. I have seen others(M.A.D.) argue that the gentiles were never under the OC and so there is not a NC they are under. There's many other ways people see this though so I realized I needed to ask how they see it which is why I ask the author of the OP(seems as if they see the Jews under the OC and not the NC) but they have not answered yet. As for the Jews themselves they see it as this https://www.aish.com/atr/Jeremiah-31-and-the-New-Covenant.html

Yes I don't know German/Old Dutch well myself. In my former post "Naarden" is "naar" https://biblehub.com/hebrew/5288.htm and "dam/dawm" https://biblehub.com/hebrew/1818.htm (no vowels in Hebrew) but in Dutch is jongblut/jungbluth(?,,my Dutch is not that good) or in Spanish Sangrejoven ect. in about 1200ad the people were required to have a "sir name/last name" and so words like van in Van Naarden is Van(from) meaning "I'm from,of" Naarden so as an example "Yacob Van Naarden" Jacob from Naarden ect. (short explanation is over time on records Smith could be spelled Smithe.Schmith,Schmythe ect.)

I remember Kunze https://www.npr.org/sections/codeswitch/2019/02/20/695941323/when-nazis-took-manhattan from the radio back then because as the war drug on they became enemies instead of the way the US looked at them before the war and so they talked about it on the news. The salute back then in the US was the Bellamy salute(French) when everyone said the pledge of allegiance in school but all that changed after the war so I did both. There was a song in the 70's that used similar sounding words with this Ma Belle Amie(my beautiful Amie)

At your age you(all of the old) should talk about your memories of that time frame because much of this is going to become forgotten very soon I think. Why I say this is because it's evident from threads like this(and others) that Hollywood does about as good a job of turning novels about this into movies as they do with movies about the Bible (Noah for example) similar but they give it the Hollywood twist called "based on". I'm saying this because I know that if I say that there's some things that aren't being spoken of quite accurately many see it as offensive. I think the reason why is that their are holocaust deniers (and) us(old people) and the younger ones see us as if in the same group when we're not.

It's sort of like hearing someone talk about a book and they only skimmed through it and so the more you talk to them it stands out they didn't actually read the book. To me I see people today screaming about mask(hassle to wear to me too.lol) but I cant help but think these people would have gone plum crazy if they had lived through ww2 in the US. They don't know that we got one coupon a year to get to buy a pair of shoes or what a red or blue coin was. They don't know that everything we got depended on ration book coupons. They don't know that an A sticker on your car meant three gallons of gas per week or what a B,C or T sticker was. Where I grew up we went down to Galveston at night once and watched what we thought was Navy training(they had three bunkers there,,one at Bolivar two on Galveston island) because we heard it on the radio. Later we knew what loose lips sink ships really meant and that what was actually happening was cargo ships were coming out of the ship channel headed for Europe and were being sunk in the Gulf and the Navy was grouping them into convoys and searching for submarines at the same time.

It is not impossible that we will be faced with a dictatorship. No more than 50 or 60 years ago, don't remember the year, but ministers were called to Washington DC to sign an agreement that the church would not interfere with government. There are cases of businesses or churches forced to cater to homosexuals, not given the freedom to choose. The moral code in the world has changed in the name of tolerance. Tolerance is supposed to be based on love, but this tolerance is not out of love. Our moral code has led to many more single parent households, and that leads to households living in poverty. Crime is increased. If a deep depression hits, people become desperate. They have no faith in the Lord to help them through, anything can happen.
