Love and Mercy
Brothers and Sisters let’s look at Matthew 18 and Luke 9.

We note that today many people, especially in the world are at odds. About religion, about race, about politics. Should we who say we Love God with all we are and are not of this world be like them? Divide even amongst ourselves on these matters? I am not saying we should not stand for what is right, but as you state that, what is right? By whose standard?

Many people who like to judge will recite the verse in Matthew where Christ re quotes the law.
Matthew 18:15
15“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. 16But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. 17If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. 18Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosedf in heaven. 19Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”


Now people who don’t understand will use this to be the letter of the law. They will follow it and keep out those heathens that won’t repent!! Haha!!! Yet they followed the law and violated the heart of it as Christ said. The Bible isn’t wrong, God isn’t wrong. Man trying to understand and teach of Christ absent of the Holy Spirit causes this confusion.

Let’s look at the whole situation that brought them up to this very conversation. Where Jesus is quoting the law back to them as written in the gospels of Matthew and Luke.
Deuteronomy 19:15.

15 “One witness shall not rise against a man concerning any iniquity or any sin that he commits; by the mouth of two or three witnesses the matter shall be established.

Following the gospel in Matthew and Luke we can see that the brothers where given power and sent out in pairs, accordingly to God’s order first, and for the law of witnessing second. They started to get egos. It is written how they even started arguing amounts themselves who would be greatest in the kingdom? Luke 9

They also had just failed a Test to cast out a demon from a child just before this and had to be told because they lack faith. They were still growing and learning.

They started having ego issues when they asked him who is greatest. Then he ego slapped them with the truth Matthew 18. And Luke 9:46.

1At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them 3and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

That is why Jesus brought up the subject of the law in the First place. Because they were still blind spiritually and in the flesh. He wanted to teach them the greater meanings but had to get them to think they asked the right question to start that conversation leading to the ultimate teaching . Take them from thinking in the flesh to thinking in the spirit.

Again giving credence that man cannot understand what is not His. Only God reveals himself to whom he chooses. Those who love Him, not to bring fortune or fame unto himself or herself. To serve in joy and honor the King of heaven whose riches and fortune are far greater then that of man.

So he did this by restating the law. Which they knew. This lead Peter in the flesh to wonder hmm, ok I know the law. How many times should I allow my brother to sin against me. Before I treat him like a heathen with excommunication?

That was the right question, in the flesh.

Jesus then explains the heart of the law with mercy love and forgiveness. Because unless you truly love how can you forgive?
He teaches him no, don’t forgive him just seven times, but seven times seventy seven. Or seven seven seven the number of?



Let’s look at it:



21Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” 22Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.

23“Therefore the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wished to settle accounts with his servants.g24When he began to settle, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.h 25And since he could not pay, his master ordered him to be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and payment to be made. 26So the servanti fell on his knees, imploring him, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you everything.’ 27And out of pity for him, the master of that servant released him and forgave him the debt. 28But when that same servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii,j and seizing him, he began to choke him, saying, ‘Pay what you owe.’ 29So his fellow servant fell down and pleaded with him, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you.’ 30He refused and went and put him in prison until he should pay the debt. 31When his fellow servants saw what had taken place, they were greatly distressed, and they went and reported to their master all that had taken place. 32Then his master summoned him and said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me. 33And should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?’ 34And in anger his master delivered him to the jailers,k until he should pay all his debt. 35So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.”



This is the heart of the law that many who claim to know Christ didn’t and don’t see. Though I say it plainly even today many because of the hardness of their hearts in their flesh will still ignore it. You read these sayings for a reason. Now take what you have heard and declare it on the roof tops. You received freely, give freely. As was your ransom from sin to salvation in Christ also given freely unto you.

On the ego slap note, yes it was not only to humble them but, also to teach the truth of how one must enter the Kingdom of heaven. So it is a lesson to all even us today.

What is the lesson? We, people like to sometimes hold up other people and esteem them to a level that it should not be.

In religion we call them, prophets, apostles and puff them up almost to a God like positron forgetting that they no better, or worse then any of us. The difference being they had a deep relish inka hip with God.

We also do this in politics, trusting completely in man and putting our hope in their actions. Both of these actions are wrong because they skew where our faith should be.

It should be in God who has saved us, God who loves us. God ago loves you as much as Moses, and Peter.

Ultimately the lesson is seek and truly trust in God, who will not fail you. Not in man, who believes they are in control, God is in control. Let that peace be upon you. I am not saying do not prey, do so without stopping if possible. I am saying if fear comes upon you, rebuke it. Pray and trust in our Father, He has our back.

The part about a member sinning against another member and how to restore him to fellowship through witnesses is for compassion. To view someone as a tax collector or gentile is how believers see the lost and our Lord wants us to have compassion for them.
As Paul also says in 1Cor.5:1-5, so that an offender would be saved.

To bind evil and loose someone from it on earth is a good thing and follows into the next life.

Your are right brother it is, but if a man has a heart of flesh. He sometimes will go to the step of treating him like a tax collector/heathen. Just because they are sinners that aren’t even winning against them. Yet, we have to remember that if they ask for mercy to give it. If they do it again, give it and again. Because we treat our Lord the same way don’t we?

Because we being in the flesh do the same thing to each other. That is where the crux is though. How much sinning should we be doing? Especially willingly? If we say we love the one who is perfect? Do we truly love him. Are we truly seeking him? When I was double minded I realized I wasn’t putting him first. I wasn’t loving him, I was a double minded harlot.

In my walk and journey through the wildness I have been pruned and pruned.

I have said the same words of Paul why do I do the things I don’t want to do.

Then I found the basic truth, the greatest commandment. If I love God then he must be exempted of my heart and life. That means nothing goes between us, nothing. When we do that everything changes. Because he draws you closer and the spirit comes on you more because your relationship the one mentioned through the Bible is happening. The whole reason for this finally came into view.

God could have made perfect humans to love him and are perfect. What joy is that? If though we understand his goodness and love because, and we have free will, we fall in love with Him for who He is. Not just because he is God. Well, that changes everything. We don’t appreciate what we have unless we find it, then lose it. Then we should chase it, like a mouse in a maze seeking the cheese. Which draws us in him and him in us. His light reduces the darkness in us. I don’t do things because I am good. I do things because home is in me. He is live so I too have become love. He is merciful so now so am I as I should be.

Remember Jesus said. The good tree? Who is the good?

Jesus said, I am the true vine. The vine feeds the tree and makes the tree good because God who is good is in us. The tree cannot make itself good only God can. So no man can boast.

That is why they will be found guilty for rejecting Jesus as Lord and Savior of their lives, and receive eternal damnation. So, is it your plan to support THE LAW? That the Church today should be living the Law? It is a bit confusing trying to work out what you are asserting. Mixed messages.

Support the law and love it!! Because the law comes from God and is, as Christ said, it will be instead now written in our hearts. If you do not live the law, then who do you love?

The law was given to convict the flesh of its nature. So that man would repent and turn to God to be healed. Yet man despises the law which convicts him and hates the law giver. He would rather give credence to ticking of his ears of how being double minded and blinded is acceptable to the kingdom.

Do not believe me, read what the disciples said about the law. Man cannot keep the law, we know this. Nor can a bad tree bear good fruit.

This is why you must decide whom do you love? What is the greatest commandment? It was written them and still is today man should honor me with their lips but their hearts are far from me.

Should a man have two wives in his bed?

Jesus asked the Pharisee what is the greatest commandment? Jesus said to the people I give you two new commandments. These commandments were not new but new to man. To take them from their fallen state of flesh, to a resurrected state of Spirit.

The law has not passed away, nor has His words, but salvation is only through the Christ who said if you love me, you will kee my commandments.

So if us being a bad tree cannot save ourselves and be a good tree. Then what shall be? It is only through belief, repentance and seeking does one truly find. When he finds he rejoices because he has found the true vine of life.

It is not I who keep the law, it is God in me. With man it is impossible. With God all things are possible. He is the good vine which makes the bad tree good. This is what is meant by walking in the spirit.

If you turn a lamp on does it not shine where you want it to? Are you not able to see in the light? Because the lamp chases the darkness away. So it is when you find the Father. Darkness cannot occupy where the light is.

Which is greater? The temple or the Spirit of God? Which one make it Holy? If God is Holy and is able to keep the law. Then if his presence is in the temple the temple too become Holy.

Brothers and sisters is the sword of God not double edged? A blessing for one and a curse for another? The identification of the way has begun so that in the end what is Gods will be Gods and what is not, will not be. That which is not of God will have a great light shines upon it and the cost will be to great to bear for those who love this world.

I pray though that God be merciful, that he give every person the knock EIM org the truth at the door. I ask him to try again and again because he is living and merciful. I ask him this because I too was lost and blind. I k ow he can save and I ask Him to open the hearts that they may love and the eyes of the blind that they may see. To heal the sick that they may be well and ready to serve Him when the his Kingdom descends.

is it not written that the way to distinction is easy and wide? What about the road to salvation?


Whay where there five foolish virgins?

Why was the church in the book of Revelation told to return to their first love?

Only that which is built on the rock will stand. The rest will fall away.

Then the story of Cane and Able shall come full circle for out of hate and jealousy for what they sacrificed to God one brother was found pleasing to God one was not.

Yet God, being just warned him that sin was at the very door. To repent, not to be angry or offended because His brother received a blessing and he didn’t. He told him what to do, it was up to Him to do it. Yet he chose hate, because he did not want to recognize what God has done for Him too.

To judge from a heart of compassion for someones welfare is good, but to judge to condemn is bad.

Amen. I hope, because until someone knows they are wounded they won’t seek the physician to heal them. It took me a long time to get here sister, but it wasn’t me, but God’s timing. I am nothing before Him.

As is anyone who seeks the face of God sister for I am the greatest of sinners and least of the Kingdom. Yeay though, by the grace of God alone I am of the Kingdom.
