And, while you are remembering things - and never forgetting them - keep this in mind always:

Revelation 12:

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Please understand that Satan has in fact already deceived the whole world - just like this verse indicates.

The intent of this thread, in part, is to help you understand:

1) what he has done to deceive the whole world
2) how he was able to accomplish it over time
3) how it has been "designed" to make you a slave while convincing you that you are 'free'
4) what remedies you have available
5) what it would take to dismantle it

Keep in mind that my posts in this thread are only intended to 'inform' people of things they do not know enough about yet - and, to 'encourage' people to "do their research" to become better informed about such things. I am not suggesting that anyone perform any action without knowing enough about what you are dealing with.

I hear what you're saying totally and I've been down that line of thinking. There of course is a cabal controlling things as there has been to some extent for ages. Possibly that is why we are told so many times not to fear.
Consider the fact that most everywhere people are divided over issues, making it unlikely they could become one force to stand against anything.
My personal conclusion is that we as believers walk by faith and not by sight. I don't think it's our mission to keep our attention on whose behind the scenes manipulating things, when we need to simply follow Christ and the two commandments He gave us. We are definitely told not to worry or be anxious about anything, but to cast all our cares on to God!

And - I maintain that Christians do not need to fear having a knowledge about the workings of their worst enemy Satan in the world.

I believe that they should find it very useful in helping them to avoid the "fiery darts" of the devil.

I agree.

But - Christians need to understand this - and, that Satan is behind it - and, how it works against them. How can any Christian hope to lead others if they have no knowledge or understand about how Satan is manipulating them.

I agree.

And - I maintain that Christians should get their "marching orders" from the Holy Spirit.

(And - yes - this is the most important priority in all of this.)

But - walking by faith sometimes means not being "willfully blind to" or "willfully ignorant of" what is going on in the world.

"Know thine enemy."

Why do some people think that Christians are totally incapable of doing two things at once?!?!?

Those who "don't fear" also "don't worry" about these things. Why? Because, they understand them. (And, they have faith in God.)

Two things can calm fear and anxiety more-quickly and better-sustained than anything:

1) Love
2) Knowledge-and-Understanding

It is the lack of either of these things that cause fear and anxiety in the first place.

Lack-of-knowledge creates 'uncertainty' and 'doubt' - and those two things create 'anxiety'.

Yeah. Those parts right there. That's what I've been sticking around for.

Where is @shineyourlight when you need her to poke her head into the thread and say:

"I see what you did there..."

Statute Law says that - if you do not have a license to drive / fish / hunt / whatever - and, you do it anyway - then, you are considered to have done something illegal and are labeled a criminal.

Therefore, having a license means you have been granted the priviledge to do something illegal.

"Think about it..."

A license means you have passed a test and are competent to do whatever it is the license says you are allowed to do. It gives some measure of assurance that everybody will not just jump in en masse and do this activity without learning anything about it first.

At least in theory... I'm not sure HOW some people passed their driver's license tests.

So - do you really believe that the government should regulate how you fish and hunt?

If/When you get married, will you ask permission from the State to allow you to marry?

What test(s) do you take to "assure" others that you know how to fish and hunt? And, to marry?

God and your parents "have the responsibility" of teaching you "how to be a responsible productive member of society" - not the government.

This includes:

~ how to fish
~ how to hunt
~ how to drive
~ how to marry

- and many other things as well.

When you take a test, you receive a grade - which indicates how well you performed the test.

A license is not a grade - it is a privilege given.

It essentially means:

"You have paid your dues and are allowed to participate."

If someone in a trade looses their license - for whatever reason - do they still know how to perform the work of their trade?

If you loose your driver license tomorrow - for whatever reason - do you still know how to drive?

If you ask yourself all-of-the-right-questions, you will soon discover that it is not at all about anyone's safety --- it is all about control.

It is all about 'government' replacing 'God and parents'.

You're pretty determined to believe government = evil.

We're STILL waiting for your #4 and #5.

No - you have misunderstood entirely.

I am not against [the idea of] 'government'.

What I am against is the "shadow government" (i.e. - 'illuminati') - which is using the government against the people.

A better statement would be:

"shadow government" = evil

So what do we DO about this shadow government? Where are your long promised #4 and #5?

In other words - using a well-known modern theme - enough people must "wake up and get out of the MATRIX"...

Each one who is still "in the MATRIX" - helps to keep all of us "locked in" to the 'system' - by virtue of their trust in the 'system' and lack of knowledge concerning how it actually operates.

And - combined with - the built-in human resistance-to-change tendency.

This is one of the reasons I do not believe we will break free from it - not [nearly] enough people will be awake-and-aware "in time" to make the difference.

The short version - people must understand [enough about] how the system works before they can effectively do anything to dismantle it.

The short version - people must understand [enough about] the system to be able to change it from the outside. Trying to dismantle the system from within the system is futile; however, the system can be 'leveraged' against itself in a way that would render it helpless against an action to dismantle it.

Was this actually intended for another thread?

Perhaps the license was lost because they did not truly know how to drive properly in the first place.

Or something happened to diminish their ability to drive. It happens.
