Amil believes the two battles are the same battle repeated but is that true?

1.

Battle at Armageddon:

This battle involves Satan, the beast and the false prophet and their armies.

Battle at Jerusalem:

This battle only includes Satan and his Gog Magog armies. The beast and FP are not part of this battle because they are in the LOF, Rev 20:10.

2.

Battle at Armageddon:

Location is 66 miles from Jerusalem.

Battle at Jerusalem:

Location is at Jerusalem.

3.

Battle at Armageddon:

Christ and his army on white horses and the enemy is killed by the symbolic sword of his mouth with vultures eating the dead.

Battle at Jerusalem:

Christ and his army are not involved, no sword or vultures eating the dead. The army is killed by fire from God the Father in heaven and are burned to death.

4.

Battle at Armageddon:

The beast and false prophet are cast into the lake of fire. Satan is cast into the pit not the lake of fire.

Battle at Jerusalem:

The beast and false prophet are already in the lake of fire before this battle begins. Only Satan is cast into the lake of fire where the beast and false prophet already are.

5.

Battle at Armageddon:

Two armies meet there. Christ's army meets the army of the beast and false prophet.

Battle at Jerusalem:

One army meets there. Satan's Gog and Magog army does not meet another army at Jerusalem.

Conclusion:

Battle at Armageddon fought at a different time, a different place, with different armies, and different ways the enemy army is slain and the one doing the slaying is different.

The battle at Armageddon is not the battle at Jerusalem.
The battle at Jerusalem is not the battle at Armageddon.

Yes the battle in Rev 16 & Rev 20 are the very same battle in "Parallel Teachings" the second coming of Jesus Christ (The End)

The book of Revelation is taught in "Parallel Teachings" of the same events

You will closely note satan isgathering the ings/nations

You will closely note Rev 16:17 (It Is Done) the end of the world, it's that simple

No time dosen't go on past (It Is Done) the end

Revelation 16:12-17KJV
12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

Revelation 20:7-9KJV
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Revelation 19, battle of Armageddon where Jesus and the saints come from heaven, and Jesus defeats the beast's army when they attack Jerusalem.

God said He will gather all nations against Jerusalem, and half the city shall be taken, and the other side saved, which is probably because the Jews split Jerusalem with the Palestinians in a peace treaty, and the Palestinian side is trampled.

Then the LORD shall fight against those nations, and the LORD my God shall come and all the saints will thee.

So the battle of Armageddon is at Jerusalem for God will gather them to go against Jerusalem and the saints come back with Jesus when He fights them, and during the millennial reign the saints are on earth ruling over the heathen.

The beast, the human body Satan possesses, and the false prophet are thrown in the lake of fire, and Satan is thrown in the bottomless pit.

Revelation 20 happens at the end of the millennial reign when Satan is let out of the bottomless pit and he deceives the heathen to go against the saints and God devours them with fire and that is the end of the millennial reign.

The devil is thrown in the lake of fire.

Zec 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

Zec 14:5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah:

and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

Zec 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

Revelation 19, before the millennial reign and they attack Jerusalem, and then Jesus defeats them and rules on earth.

Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Revelation 20, at the end of the millennial reign which they attack Jerusalem the beloved city and God defeats them.

When Jesus Christ Is Revealed In The Second Coming, This Existing Heaven And Earth Are (Dissolved) By The Lords Fire In Judgement.

This Physical Earth Wont Be In Existence To Have A 1,000 Year Millennial Kingdom On (Fact)

Luke 17:29-30KJV
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Nahum 1:5KJV
5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.

2 Peter 3:10-13KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved
, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Revelation 19, battle of Armageddon where Jesus and the saints come from heaven, and Jesus defeats the beast's army when they attack Jerusalem.
They aren't attacking Jerusalem. The beast and his army occupied Jerusalem for almost 42 months by the timeframe of the battle of Armageddon . Why would they attack it?

So the battle of Armageddon is at Jerusalem
Nope. The valley where that battle takes place is 66 miles from Jerusalem.

Revelation 20 happens at the end of the millennial reign when Satan is let out of the bottomless pit and he deceives the heathen to go against the saints and God devours them with fire and that is the end of the millennial reign.
Yes but that is the only battle that's at Jerusalem. The battle of Armageddon is not fought there.

No, they are not brother, but the OP is n error on this also.

The Gog and Magog war happens BEFORE the 70th week (it is the next war). Thus ot happens before the Pre-trib Rapture and it is Turkey, Iran, and Russia (for the most part) coming against Israel. NOTICE: no nation with a common border with Israel joins in, this is why the Trump peace plans are/were so important, this helps fulfill the Gog Magog War via Ezekiel when Israel is at peace or has UNWALLED VILLAGES then comes Gog and Magog, and God then destroys all their Armies on the Mt. of God Himself, whether that ve supernaturally or by favoring the Israeli Army, who knows, but this opens up the path for the E.U. President to force a peace plan onto Israel and her immediate neighbors, it's not so much a peace plan, as a PROTECTOR PLAN. The E.U. becomes to Israel what Washinton DC is to Wyoming, Hawaii, or Idaho, more or less. Israel will join the E.U. as they have been wanting to do for 25 years, they already play football (soccer) in the European Qualifiers.

As for Rev. 20, that is the same as Rev. 17, go read Daniel 5, it's where Rev. 17 comes from. Likewise, John takes the Gog and Magog war from Ezekiel and places it 1000 years into the future, but it's not the Ezekiel Gog and Magog war, it's just John using another Prophecy to tell about the last war that happens 1000 years into the future.

The reason we know it's not the same battle is the Gog and Magog of Ezekiel happens when Israel is revived in the later years, and God breathes upon their Dead Bones and breathes life back into them. Jesus ain't ruling in Jerusalem for 1000 years amidst a dead nation! The Gog and Magog of Revelation 20 is a Metaphor, it's just Satan being loosed again and trying to destroy Jerusalem, the Jews, and the Saints just like he did for the first 6000 years. And he gets destroyed on the Mount of God in like manner as the Gog and Magog war all over again.
