I think that you'll REALLY like this because it addresses everything we're talking about, including the Spring equinox and the actual timing of Christ's birth:

Listened during my commute this morning, compelling case thanks!

You're welcome. There's more evidence in scripture which also points to a Springtime birth of Christ, but he touched upon the major ones in the video. I actually spoke face-to-face with Jonathan many years ago on this particular topic. Unlike most "ministers" I've met, he was actually quite approachable and personable.

... Everything in scripture indicates a Springtime birth for Jesus.

Anyhow, God's calendar is the Hebrew calendar, which is a lunar calendar, unlike
our Romanized solar calendar, and the new year does begin in the Spring.
Many believe Jesus was born in the late summer or early fall... during Sukkot, or Feast of Tabernacles :)

Thats my favorite movie!! And yes... it was a pretty wild movie. I also love her in Charades. That’s a really good one too. Sorry... I love classic movies like that. 😊😊
I do not know if I have seen that one, as it does not sound familiar :)

I will have to check to see if it is on Netflix once I finish The Innocent Man :D

I also watched The Night Stalker... all these real-life murder/rape cases took place back in the
80s before DNA testing, when bogus science claims were accepted as legitimate :rolleyes::censored:

It makes for some interesting and informative viewing ;)

I'm well aware of this, but that's simply impossible for more than one reason (I'll quickly address one of them).

Every Jew was required to be in Jerusalem three times a year, and the Feast of Tabernacles was one of those times.

Exodus chapter 23 (Amplified Bible)

14 Three times a year you shall celebrate a feast [dedicated] to Me.
15 You shall observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the appointed time in the month of Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt. No one shall appear before Me empty-handed [but you shall bring sacrificial offerings].
16 Also [you shall observe] the Feast of Harvest (Weeks, Pentecost, or First Fruits), acknowledging the first fruits of your labor, of what you sow in the field. And [third] the Feast of Ingathering (Booths or Tabernacles) at the end of the year when you gather in [the fruit of] your labors from the field.
17 Three times a year all your males shall appear before the [a]Lord God.

Joseph, who was a Jew, would have never been in Bethlehem on the Feast of Tabernacles because he was required to be in Jerusalem at that time.

There's also this to consider:

Luke chapter 2

[1] And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
[2] (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
[3] And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
[4] And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David)
[5] To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.
[6] And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
[7] And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Had Caesar issued this decree at the timing of the Feast of Tabernacles, there would have been a major Jewish uprising because, again, all male Jews were required to be in Jerusalem for this feast. Caesar's decree required that every one return to his own city to be taxed which would have required multitudes of Jews to be somewhere other than Jerusalem at this time.

You are welcome 🤗Purple is a beautiful color 😍 though I am a woman that loves many colors and smileys lol 😂 no fave color but it is fascinating to find people like you ☺ it seems like your life is as vibrant as your fave color 😅
Just wanted to add here: that I am a lover of all colors also haha, though not necessarily for living with and certainly not for wearing... and I have also noticed that my panels have moved away from being more in the purple cooler tones to being in the softer, warmer pink and yellow range, which, yes, haha, I realize I am not making them almost exclusively purple any more like I was at one time, but I like this new direction for my Scripture designs :D I am working on prepping a few of the more recent ones to go on my Scripture Art thread.

Like this Colossians 1:21-22 one:

Kinda late Monday night. Truth told, I spent most of Monday in bed. This is the end of the 3rd week of my recovery from surgery, and I am being very careful to not do anydarnthing to cause damage to my hernia repairs!

I do not want to go through that surgery again. Anyone here had hernia surgery? Men? If so, you will appreciate how much a small bag of frozen green peas can mean in the recovery process.
