Give us this day our daily slice...
Slice it thin and bake it twice...
(Because I'm trying to diet)

But this yeast raised concoction is a staple for life.

Been making it from scratch.

So...
1#14.5oz bread flour
.75oz low moisture/high sugar dough yeast
1/2 C sugar
2tbsp NFDM
2tsp salt
1 tsp oil/butter
2 egg yolks
1tsp lemon juice
2½C hot water

Don't bloom the yeast and the water can be 130° F.
Mix it all up together well, very well.
Don't sweat how sticky it looks...it is gonna work out.

Let it set until doubled in volume.
Punch it down and split and form into two loaves. (The surprise is how little flour it takes to handle at this point... you will need some but not like pie dough)

Proof until doubled and bake 325° for 35 minutes

I'm not very good at baking, but I'm thinking of trying this recipe. I see how much sugar you add, is that enough? They usually write more. I will try your recipe, thanks so much for sharing.

An alternative to wheat flour bread
Is flax meal bread
Made one slice at a time
In the microwave!

3 tbl spoons freshly ground flax
1 t spoon melted coconut oil
1 spoon baking powder
1 egg
Pinch of salt
Warm water to make dough
Stir and let it set for 3 min
( Flax absorbs moisture)
Form a ball with dough and flatten
Like a tortilla
Microwave 1 min
And you have low carb bread!
High fiber
Single serve

The non-fat dry milk is sugar...just milk sugar as it is a little protein but a lot of lactose.

But milk sugar adds a richness to the bread as well as sweetness. And that's why you need a special low moisture yeast to get this to rise. Otherwise you are going to be there forever waiting for the bread to rise.

Good quickbread for those on a keto diet.

So is that pizza dough recipe running around with lots of mozzarella.

No I think you mean the caluflower pizza dough
Cook and strained cauliflower
Mix with an egg
Cheese and made into a dough
Refrigerate to rest dough
Then pat our into a pizza crust

The one I'm familiar with uses almond flour and mozzarella...it tastes fine. But yours sounds ok too...

Califlower is a great substitute for
Bread and pasta and rice
The calorie factor is nil
Not that anyone asked 😀
