Our dear Savior bore the sins of this world when they were committed against him. When he was contradicted, lied about, spit on, slapped in the face, beaten, mocked and crucified.

For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me. Psa.69:9

Remember, Lord, how your servant has been mocked, how I bear in my heart the taunts of all the nations, the taunts with which your enemies, LORD, have mocked, with which they have mocked every step of your anointed one. Psa.89:50-51

IF we are truly 'called', we can always expect persecution, and a myriad of suffering =
as it is written:
ROMANS 8:36.
As it is written, For Your sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
11TIM. 2:12.
If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him: if we deny Him, He also will deny us:
11TIM. 3:12.
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Yes and the reason for that is because Christ is in the believer and the unrepentant don't know him hate him and therefore don't know and hate the Father he is One with,

And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me. Jn.16:3
Whoever hates me hates my Father also. Jn.15:23

Jesus said,

And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many. Mk.14:24

Our dear Lord shed his blood in battle against the sins that were being committed against him. He also does this as believers yield to his Spirit,

Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. Heb.12:24

He teaches us how he and his Father and the Holy Spirit patiently endure the sins being committed against him,

And the LORD said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. Gen.6:3

And after Noah preached for 120 years, he entered the ark.

Christ, who is the image of God, 2Cor.4:4

And our dear Lord showed by what he suffered how God is hated.

And his followers,

to be conformed to the image of his Son Rom.8:29

can also clearly see by how the world treats us how God is hated. How knowing God more intimately is interpreted as separation from him is bizarre. It's insane.
