Hi all, I am new here. Requesting prayer for my 31 year old brother who practices Scientology x10 years and is currently on an intensive “spiritual” retreat that is 1:1 for 4 weeks. Please pray for him to see the Truth about who God is and the truth about that organization run by the devil. His name is Chris. Thank you ♥️

How dedicated is he? Is he in the Sea Organization? Or how far is he on the bridge of alignment?

He is thankfully not in the Sea Org but he has been climbing the bridge. I don't know how far along he is, as about 3 years ago, he also developed a chronic health condition that has debilitated him. Since he has been feeling a little better, he decided to go on this intensive retreat, I guess to sort of "catch up". I know they are practicing out out of body experiences and I know he is being trained to become an auditor. He appears quite devoted. Makes it really hard for people to talk to him about it or to talk to him about God. He is becoming a shell of himself and it is heartbreaking. Thanks for your concern and prayers.

Has he disconnected from you or are you still in good terms? If in good terms probably the best thing to do is just love him and be an open ear for him. Even if he has troubles in the church they have probably brainwashed him into suppressing those thoughts so his auditing doesn't pick it up. Which we all know doesn't work so he still will feel the battle within. It will take lots of prayer because even looking at anything negative about the church can have him labeled as a suppressive person. So really it is going to be good if you can at least keep the connection going because one day as many ex-Scientologists do, they hit a breaking point.

Thank you, that is comforting. We used to be closer, for sure. Our relationship is definitely strained, as is his relationships with my other brother and my mother. But we have a line of communication open, we are not totally estranged and I am actually surprised that the he hasn't disconnected from us yet. He certainly makes it difficult to be in a relationship with him, so maybe that's a tactic. I don't know. But yes, you're right. It's spiritual warfare and I need to battle in the Spirit. Prayer and love. Thank you for affirming this.

It is a tactic of the church (cult) but you are in the best position until he breaks away on his own. He is blessed to have a loving family and sister who cares about him. I'm sorry you and your family have to go through this. It is as if losing a child or brother even though physically he exists. Praying for y'all.

Praying for your brother. If it helps, I had family who were involved in the JW so I have a little experience in dealing with cults. Its a painful process to get them out of that and to reprogram them. Only God can deliver people.

Hi and thank you! You "had" family in JW... meaning they were delivered?? Thank you for relating - would love to hear more about how you coped/showed love/prayed despite the pain of it. And if they are believers now, would love to their story!
