Non violent of course but have to start somewhere. Who wants to pick a place in there own state to send a loud and clear but loving message that this is wrong in the sight of the Lord.
Please post any easy to understand scripture to use .
While I agree that abortion is a terrible thing - indeed it is murder - The true believers in Jesus Christ should only be interested in witnessing to those who are still lost. Their Eternal state before God is the real issue. As the Apostle Paul said:
1Co 2:2 For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
Neither Christ are the Apostles ever spoke out against social issues of their time. They knew full well the evil of their time. The purpose of believers and the church are restricted to heavenly things. Christ in His earthly ministry could have spoke out about the injustices of the Romans, slavery and other issues effecting the people but He did not. He restricted His message to the things of God, the need of repentance, the Heavenly Kingdom and the wrath that is to come.
There is no reason for the followers of Christ to believe they are here to FIX the ills of this world and it's system. These things shall be corrected at the coming of the Righteous One. Paul spoke against the church and it's members being involved in social problems:
1Co 5:12 For what have I to do with judging them that are without? Do not ye judge them that are within?
1Co 5:13a But them that are without God is judging.....
The idea of a social gospel in the church is not Biblical, even though many churches have fallen into it's clutches.
The times are bad and are going to get far worse. The church needs to guard itself from outsiders and their false messages. I say these things to you and others not as a rebuke but as one concerned. Look not upon this worlds problems. Be not involved in their wicked ways or ideas.
God has a purpose in all things - good and bad. Keep your eyes on the heavenly things and Jesus Christ our Lord. A friendly reminder and a reminder to myself.
