Simple basic Christian TRUTH.... the Trinity which I wholeheartedly agree with..... is TRUE Yet, the vast majority of churches teach that Jesus is merely a stepping stone, and then fall all over themselves to excuse this contradictory statement. To them, they almost always use the word, God, or the Father as the ultimate power.

But Thomas dropped his doubts and said to the Lord of Lord and King of Kings,, My LORD and MY GOD.

The Lord JESUS is the GREAT I AM, and was before Abraham, and created all THINGS. Jesus was the Creator.

Jesus in most churches is secondary and mere foreshadowing of the greater God the Father

Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Yet the excuses to demote Jesus can be heard.

And prayers can go unanswered because they deem HIM a mere go between.

How sad.

JESUS IS GOD is a basic Bible prophetic truth

Jesus taught to pray to the Father, and also said (in John 14:28), "The Father is greater than I." We preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles. Jesus said in Matthew 21:42, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:

‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
This is from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?"

I do not say any of that to excuse anyone saying Jesus is merely a stepping stone.

How is God greater than Jesus? In what way or ways?

How is God greater than Jesus? In what way or ways?
Jesus repeatedly stated that He said and did only that which the Father commanded Him to do.

For instance, John 12:49, and John 14:31 ~

I have not spoken on My own, but the Father who sent
Me has commanded Me what to say and how to say it.

But I do exactly what the Father has commanded Me, so that the world
may know that I love the Father. Get up! Let us go on from here.

See also John 5:19 ~

So Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself, unless
He sees the Father doing it. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does."

And John 5:30 ~

I can do nothing by Myself; I judge only as I hear. And My judgment is just,
because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

Jesus submitted His will to the will of the Father.

Going a little farther, He fell facedown and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible,
let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will."
Matthew 26:39

For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will,
but to do the will of Him who sent Me.
John 6:38

Jesus said, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and
that I do nothing on My own, but speak exactly what the Father has taught Me."
John 8:28

"I have not spoken on My own, but the Father who sent Me has commanded
Me what to say and how to say it. And I know that His command leads to eternal
life. So I speak exactly what the Father has told Me to say."
John 12:49-50

Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you, I do
not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works.
John 14:10

In greatness, no way. Jesus IS GOD, EQUAL in power, Hes the EVERLASTING FATHER, the CREATOR, etc etc. etc.

So you believe within the Godhead there is one greater than the other?

Do you believe what Jesus said of Himself in relation to God?

What do you say of yourself in relation of God?
I am a sinner saved by grace through faith in the shed righteous blood of Jesus Christ, Who was purposed from before the foundation of the world to give His life as a ransom for many, as the perfect Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world.

Then why do you not act like it?

Why do you not believe what Jesus said of Himself?
What did Jesus say of Himself that you say I do not believe?
You tell me...and if I do not believe it...I will tell you.
And If I do believe it I will tell you.

I do not have to hide in the Light.

You could start by affirming the many Scriptures I gave attesting to the fact that Jesus said the Father was greater than He, Jesus, was, and that He, Jesus, said and did only those things the Father instructed Him to say and to do, and that He, Jesus, submitted His will to the will of the Father... instead of trying to turn the Scriptures I have provided into fodder to attack me.

So you consider any being that questions anything you post on this forum is an attack upon you?
Is this correct?

Or is it just me when I question what you post?

No it is not correct. Why do you not act like a sinner saved by grace through faith?

According to you, you think this an innocent question.

Asking me How would I know if you are telling me the truth?
When I gave a multitude of Scripture is likewise suspect on your part.

Either you believe Scripture, or you do not. So far your direction has been oriented to the latter.

Back to the topic, 000 do you believe in the Trinity or NOT

Do you believe Jesus is God, the Father

Do you believe Jesus is secondary and below the power of God.

I lived as a full time missionary living by faith, for forty years with a wife and family, so my true testimony might not be understood by you, until you took a step by FAITH and with COURAGE, but time is not the determining factor. Knowing Jesus is God can be instanteous and eternally TRUE
