he did a lot of selfless things

he didn't have to bother when pro life legislation was going through the courts but he filed amicus briefs and did other things to fight for the right to life.

He was NOT selfish. Remember, he declined a salary...
I'm not saying he didn't do good things. There are a lot of sinful men and women that do good. However, we need to remember he's JUST a political figure head and, quite possibly, a pawn. All that glitters ain't gold...and to look at Trump as the glittering Savior who can do no wrong is naïve and foolish.

I think the main problem is Christians are getting too caught up in this world.

Turning to the news/ media and politicians when we should be turning to the Lord.

The Bible is being fulfilled folks...nothing we can do about that. So best be seeking the Lord and get prepared to stand come what may.
Only those who do the will of the Father will enter heaven, Jesus said

I say the will of God involves caring about others which means we should be involved some way or another in halting the evil we see around us. if no one ever stood up for the unborn or for religious freedom or [fill in the blanks]

the world would be even worse than it is

no one stood up when America was stolen... so yeh... Anti-Christ Thugs now rule

i don't look @ Trump

I look @ his actions

The Word says we will be judged by our deeds. I know that doesn't set well with the Do-All-want-No Problem people but it DOES say that in the Bible.

Jesus said

This I command you [NOT suggest to you] Love one another.

I don't see a whole lot of love in the w orld... Do u? There certainly isn't much love for the unborn and other unfortunates..

Jesus said that (paraphrase) those who stay in Him by doing his commandments will (my words) make it.. Sorry, I could find the exact scripture but I don't have much time right now..

We have to take it all to the Lord. Really nothing else we can do. The world is just going to get worse and worse. The Bible is being fulfilled. We are just pilgrims passing through. We need to set our affections on the things above.

If we want to help people then we need to pray and show ourselves as an example and light for the Lord. The harvest is plenteous, but the laborers are few.

I mean really what else can we do?

You're right. Love has waxed cold, as Jesus said would happen. Many anti-christs run rampant, as Jesus said would happen.

I've seen other posts you've made that elevate Trump to an almost god-like status and it's...concerning. Looking at the man's fruits....eh, he's pretty sketchy. I would have expected a true follower of Christ to use that great position to consistently and persistently share the gospel of Christ. Instead, he uses the title of Christian to get what he wants. He changes political affiliation as a means to an end (he was a Democrat not too many years ago). He (supposedly) became pro-life right before running for president. A little convenient, don't you think? Don't be fooled, Trump and Biden and all the rest know how to play the political game. They use anything they can to get what they want.

I know there are a lot of us that are angry and disappointed at how our US election turned out but I betcha Yahweh has a plan for it. And I wouldn't be surprised if Trump had an active and deliberate part in helping to bring Harris, er, Biden, into a position of power. The end must come at some point and Biden being put in the position he's in may very well be the beginning of the end that Jesus promised.

I don't trust Tucker he is a larp, controlled opposition. Fox News is NOT your friend
Correct. Fox News should be included with the MSM. They allow Tucker to say his piece but deep down they are all as liberal as CNN. Who owns these media networks? Communistic billionaires who do not want the truth to be broadcast.

Getting back to "What is really, really wrong in the world, not just the USA", the problem is not the divisions within Christendom. All of Christendom could be totally united but evil would prevail in this world. That is because the majority of people everywhere are unconverted (including many in Christendom) and "the whole world lieth in wickedness". Satan is the puppet-master.

What has happened recently in the world was planned and orchestrated by a small cabal of very evil people who want to enslave the world under Satan's control. And they have succeeded because those who should have stood for freedom have all betrayed their trust and oaths of office. It appears that the will and determination to fight evil is missing at all levels.

What is really, really wrong in the world, not just the USA

is that Christians themselves are divided. Mostly I refer to Catholic against Protestant and vice versa but I have seen Protestant denom against Protestant denom also

THAT is a HUGE problem

People need to come together and forget about doctrinal differences.

Why do we need 2 do that, u may ask?

Look at what the liberals did.

They UNITED

against

"Christians"

Now they own us
JesusWhereRU, if you're a true Christian no one can "own" you but the Lord.

You're thinking as the world thinks. You appear to believe the problem is those "liberals" who rained on your parade. How do you know things aren't exactly as the Lord had planned?

Anyway, there's already a lot of agreement between conservative Protestants and Catholics. What exactly would you like to see more agreement on? I mean, what more can we do to take back "ownership" from the liberals?

i agree totally.. or almost totally

There are a few things we can do aside from prayer. Those who rely only on prayer... that is NOT good.

I mean, I have a lot of respect for people who show up at abortion clinics w/ signs and that kind of thing.. I really admire them and sometimes I have joined them.. Lately, i am caught up in other concerns.. hopefully what I am doing now is pleasing to God but... only God knows..

anyway.. I also appreciate those who pray a lot... That is also very necessary

well, I did not mean to say that they own us ABSOLUTELY. I was rather upset when I wrote that so yeh... left out that A word..

what can we do to take back what the libs have done?

that's a seemingly big question. Prayer is the first thing and then God will guide us through in prayer... He speaks to us in many different ways (or me anyhow). But i can't help but think that ifChristians had been more united .. all this election steal and related things would not have happened... True, we can't always get the best people elected to Congress.. but maybe we need to try harder? or, when some supposedly conservative person IS elected and does wrong, wecan correct that person, write letters, show up, get in the person's face if it is a serious wrong.. I mean, that is what the lefties do... they push hard.. and now they don't even have to push at all... They've been allowed to run wild and take over the whole govt system..

it makes my blood boil to think about how the fake Rs in Congress just have always allowed the left to run all over them (us)...

i agree w/ everything here except that first sentence. I do not believe Tucker is evil or... whatever u said..

I mean, anyone who speaks truth is afollower of Christ IN SOME WAY whether he or she realizes it or admits it or not and of course, most christians ARE silenced by... just whomever... We are "silenced" or made to feel that we SHOULD be silent... by everyone around us bc as u say, most ppl are not converted.. And THAT is the fault of Christians who do not want to go to the trouble of evangelizing.

So, yeh, we can take responsiblity for THAT

I dont know that the RINOs got ran over. I think they were in on it. Their hatred of Trump was very telling. They liked the old days when parties took turns living in the whitehouse and both sides lined their pockets.

well, not all Rs are Rinos, so how to explain whathappened Jan 6?

one word that appears to succinctly explain whathappend, and is the only wordthat works for me rightnow is:

Satan
