Hello and God bless everyone!

I'm Anthony. I'm 29 years old. I really would like to have Christian friends to connect with. I don't really have Christian friends and I believe it's not good for Christians to be alone.

About me:
I'm 29
I believe God is Triune
I believe love is most important
I am anti-calvinism
I really want to encourage others/get encouragement from others
I'm looking for Christians around my age to connect with.

If anyone is interested in connecting, please leave a comment! :)

Hey! God bless you. Thank you for commenting! I've been a Christian for 10+ years now and I never really had a fellowship group. I want that to change.

Thank you for replying! I consider myself non-denominational. I haven't really been a part of a church throughout my Christian walk.

I grew up in church but had a life change experience that woke me up from a casual Christian to a committed Christian. Been that way for about 10 years also. Christians need the body of Christ/ the church/ we as individuals make up the church. We need discipleship to truly mature and learn to disciple others.

It's great you have had that experience. Unfortunately, many people only claim Christ with their lips and not their heart.

Have you met Christian friends on here?

Very true. Have I met in real life? None on here in real life. But I have a handful that we follow each other and comment on the same subjects. You have the regular users who around daily and you will quickly see who those folks are. Many come and go, come back, or never return. But a good many are regular everyday users seeking advice, giving advice, teaching, learning or just for fellowship.

That's great to hear. I remember a couple people on Facebook used to recommend this site. I should try to be more active on here.

It is a good site to learn good theology and bad theology. Why is it good to know bad theology? So you know how to counter bad with good theology. Sometimes we are just never tested in our average walk as we tend to gravitate to like minded people. What is good theology? To simplify it, the Bible without outside human opinion. As in read and 1st study the Bible as you see it. Build a solid foundation and I truly believe at this point you will be well equipped to then either build on the foundation or not. You will see good blueprints for building and you will see bad. It is up to you on how you build. You will have your occasional zealots who believe their way was called by God. You will have the conspiracy theorists too. An occasional troll. But other than that the majority of people are easy to get along with.

Great to have you here, brother! Just curious, why anti-calvinist? Bad experience? I’m not calvinist myself, just curious what’s your take on it! 😊

Hey Ankagirl! Thank you so much for your kind message! God bless you my sister! :) To answer your question, I am against calvinism because I believe it totally misrepresents God's character. Calvinism says that God is so in control that He dictates everything that happens in the world. The good and the bad. That means humans beings don't have free will. All evil that happens is because God decided that human beings will do evil. Not only that, the people who go to hell were created by God to solely go to hell for His glory. They never had a chance to be saved. That's why I can never accept calvinism! (Sorry, I'm really passionate about this! Lol)

That’s great, it’s good to be passionate about the truth! I very much agree with you. I do believe that there is a certain ‘choosing’, if I may say, by the LORD, but here is DEFINITELY free will there, too! God bless you!

Thank you for reading! When I came to Christ, I felt that He invited everyone to be with Him because He wanted everyone to turn to Him. That invitation was so beautiful because even though I've done so many bad things in my life, He STILL sent me an invitation. There's no way I could reject that knowing how I messed up so much. That's why it hurts too much to believe there are people who messed up like me but God never sent them an invitation because they were created specifically to go to hell. :(
