So I don't make threads often but when I do it is because I feel or believe something strongly and I personally think the tribulation could very well begin this year. For those of you who know I am a pretrib rapture believer and while I leave room for me being wrong and end up having to go through the tribulation I truly feel myself looking up more when I did my recent bible prophecy study.
And some of you may know as well I study biblical numerology as numbers are used all throughout the bible as if a hidden language and used precicely in each manner of which it is used I found a site on this subject a while back https://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-numbers-in-bible/21.html and it has so far been amazing in helping me understand and the number 21 and this year has been on my eyes for a while now because it does seem to symbolize great wickeness and rebellion and sin ehich if you look at things in the world right now the wickedness corruption and sin is by far worse than it has been in a good while.

My next thing is the number 22 which seems to represent great disorder and chaos and again the link is herehttps://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-numbers-in-bible/22.html Also remember how Jesus said on the mount of olives how the generation will see all these things come to pass? what is a generation according to scripture? the bible says it is 70 years or by reason of strength 80 years, now pay attention to Israel and how it became a nation again in 1948 now lets add 80 years to that and what is it? 2028 what is 7 minus that? 2021 why does God begin the great tribulation to begin with? the great rebellion and sin of man.
This is only a little of my studies but I just felt God telling me to make this thread how it is recieved is in his hands
Also for those who have been worried I have not been online much I was put into an institute by family for the mentally disabled which I don't belong in but have nowhere to go and the internet here is very finicky plus I have been working a lot as well but God has been with me and speaking to me so I figure he must have me here for a reason
The 70th week could very well begin, but only after the Rapture. The Disciples in Matt. 24 asked Jesus when these things will happen (Temple's destruction) and the sign of your coming and the end of the world. Jesus tells them about the 70 AD sacking of Jerusalem and the temple first, naturally, since he brought that up himself, he says (NOW LISTEN CAREFULLY HERE) you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but "THE END" (70th week) is not yet, it is by and by. Verses 4-6 are specifically about the 70 ad sacking of Jerusalem, not the end times. Bt Jesus tells them when the end will come later on in the chapter. In verses 7-14 he tells about the whole Church Age and says when the gospel is preached unto the ends of the world, then THE END (70th week) will come.

So, you are correct, the Church is Raptured first, then the 70th week comes. So, the 70th week can not start, but we are in tribulation as we speak, that word has been hijacked, and forced into meaning God never intended to point to only 3.5 years. Jesis told us in the Gospel of John we would have continual tribulation on this earth. So, the Church Age is tribulation, there have been millions of Martyrs since Jesus died. The 70th week will be tribulation, and the last 3.5 years of the 70th week will have the most severe troubles ever seen by the human race. But all time is tribulation, there are just different degrees and different tribulations spoken of. For instance, we can call the last 3.5 years the most severe or Greatest ever troubles, and we can call the Church Age Period the greatest ever length of tribulation. This is why the Raptured Church in Rev. 7:9-17 are said to come out of the Great Tribulation. Or the Church Age tribulation period. It can't be the Martyrs from the 70th week, they are not judged unto Rev. 20:4, its says so in that verse, they are all Judged AFTER Jesus Return, so its not them in Rev. 7:9-17, and that's a fact.

So, the 70th-week tribulation will not start until the Rapture of the Church.

If you want to find out when the Rapture is going to happen as per THE SEASON, try looking for the Middle of the Week Day of the Lord (Asteroid impact) as seen in the Rev. 8 Mountain cast into the Sea. Then subtract 3.5 years, and you will know THE SEASON, but we can not know the exact day nor hour.

Whether there is a tribulation in the futurist/Dispensationalist sense of the term this year or not makes no difference to a believer in Christ. I am not looking for a tribulation I am waiting for his return and the
new Heaven and Earth promised in the Scriptures in the same way people have been waiting for centuries.

What do you expect to be like?

The asteroid Apophis apparently is supposed to hit the earth in 2029 (if it is true) and it is very big.

If you want to know what his return will be like try reading what he said to his Disciples and Opponents in the Gospels. Try reading what Josephus said about the events in the Jewish war of 70AD of which he was an eye witness and compare them with Matthew 24.

If you want some scripture take a look at the following -

I saw in the night visions and behold one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven
and came TO the ancient of days Ancient of days and they brought him near before him. And there
was given him dominion and glory and a kingdom that all people nations and languages should serve him his dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed

Daniel 7 13 -14

And when he had spoken these things while they beheld he was taken up and a cloud received him out of their sight

Acts 1 v 9

And the High Priest arose and said unto him I adjure thee by the living God that thou tell us whether
thou be the Christ the Son of God. Jesus saith unto him Thou hast said neverthless I say unto you Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Matthew 26 63-64

Jesus does not have to sit on a throne in a physical Israel. He has been ruling from heaven since his
ascension. All who believe in him are part of his kingdom now regardless whether they are Jew or Gentile He has all power and dominion now He can come back in judgement any time and doesn't have to wait for some Temple to be rebuilt. The whole body of believers are his spiritual Temple.

The Chief Priest has been dead for 0ver 2000 years so its obvious that when Jesus said that he would see him he meant that he would do so in his lifetime. You may ask how since Jesus went to heaven.
The answer is that Jesus did come in judgement not physically but spiritually and used the Romans
to carry out that judgement in 70AD. When the Temple was destroyed it was the end of the Old Covenant era and the start of the New Covenant that was spoken of by Jeremiah.

This is a very long and complex subject that requires a good amount of knowledge of the Bible and
of how it is understood from a Jewish viewpoint.

yes, the Bible says everyone will see him.

but, if return of Jesus everyone see him ,then why Matthew 24:44 Luke 12:40

John 20:29

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

What we need to do now is to prepare for Lord,

It is supposed to come within 19K miles and that is 10 TIMES closer than the moon. If it hits it would hit just off the California Coast on April 13 (Friday) 2029. Now, look around you, do you think God's judgment is due? I do. Israel is in the land, the world has done what it always does when these Beasts arise, they have started accepting Homosexuality as normal. The verse that says they will change TIMES and LAWS is actually a reference to TRADITIONS and CULTURE, just like Antiochus and Jason (real name Yeshua) did as the High Priest who bribed Antiochus to be named High Priest did. Jason welcomed Antiochus into the Temple to sacrifice a pig unto Zeus, then he tried to get the Jews to act like the Greeks (take on the Greek customs) via Hellenization. The Maccabeans Revolted.

The time is at hand.

Actually the Bible has 2 sets of judgments (seals and trumpets) BEFORE the a/c or Beast appears on the scene.
Not BEFORE but during. The judgments of the Tribulation are during the reign of the Antichrist, followed by the judgments of the Great Tribulation.
Excuse me, but the Beast doesn't come on the scene until ch 13 and the first set of 7 judgments begins in ch 6.

In not going to quote scripture here, so please forgive me.

But

I'm RCC and a friend of mine is Pentecostal and we've been doing something a bit unique. I'm following Catholic visionaries and she's following a few Pentecostal prophets. We're comparing notes to see if we can find any commonality or not.

And we found something. 2 things actually.

1)God is begging us to draw closer to him because Satan is walking freely among us

2)Something big that is man-made could wipe a lot of lives from this planet. It's not Covid. It's war. Probably nuclear. God will not intervene to stop this unless we all go full ashes and sackcloth.

We've found independent unrelated prophets in Catholicism and the Pentecostal movement sharing this same message.

Take it as a grain of salt if you will, but I'm finding it fascinating work to see that the Kingdom of heaven is spreading the same messages to very different branches of the faith.

Well there is a reason I titled the thread could the tribulation begin this year this is because I truly think it could but as for the rapture I believe in a pretrib rapture but I also do not stubbornly hold to my own beliefs with no room to be wrong.
A healthy attitude. (y)

Personally I am prepared for however it happens not because of the doctrine I believe in but because of my heart I place my bond and my relationship with God before anything else if I am wrong then I will stand even if I have to die if I have to suffer through to the end I trust in Jesus and to be honest I think to many hold their rapture doctrine so tightly they leave no room to learn or be incorrect and thus do not prepare their hearts because what if we are wrong?
This is exactly my concern. There are many who do hold so tightly to their view that if proven wrong by actual events, what would that do to their faith, since they were so sure the Bible did teach a pretrib rapture? I imagine that will shatter the faith of some, if not many of these "tight holders".

what if the pretrib is in fact correct but because we were not like the wisemen who knew of Jesus birth we miss it?
That won't be possible. Not being prepared means not sharing in one of the eternal rewards, that being the wedding supper. This is based on what Jesus said. In John 5:24 He said: “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life."

I've emphasized the word "has". It means to possess. So believers possess eternal life. Not only that, but the very moment one believes means they ARE a believer, and therefore, they possess eternal life. So the gift of eternal life is possessed WHEN a person believes in Christ.

Now, Jesus then said this in John 10:28: " I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand."

Those who believe that a saved person can end up lost simply don't believe what Jesus said. He is the Giver of eternal life, and He gives it to those who believe, WHEN they believe.

So, recipients of eternal life shall never perish. Therefore, no believer, whether prepared or not, will miss the rapture.

What if we were wrong and we believed so much in a pretrib rapture that we did not prepare our hearts for the coming tribulation?
That is a concern and could possibly damage one's faith. But that doesn't mean that salvation is in peril.

The way I see it who cares who is right as long as our hearts are madly in love with Jesus
:) The way I see it is I want to understand all truth. People can be madly in love with Jesus but have very little proper understanding of His Word. And that ignorance can and will lead to many problems, since the believer doesn't have the knowledge and discernment about how to live the Christian life.

Ignorance is not bliss.

No. Not highly probable considering the fact that, for persecution to come, there has to be oppressors of Christians, and Christ haters. That means Anti-Christ. Without the presence of Anti-Christ promoter, there can be no persecution, and without Christians preaching the Gospel of Christ to a greater degree than now, there will be no Anti-Christ promoters.
This is what the apostle John wrote: Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. 1 John 2:18.

My dear, persecution of believers had already been going on in the USA. Just follow the balanced news.

That said, a Revival must come first, and America is chosen for it.
Chosen for a revival? Have you not seen the actions and platform of the current party in power??? The USA has come under a Marxist regime.

Follow my heart.
I'm happy to tell the secret.
it's a long story from 2001 year.
That's the secret about my first love, not the bible "first love".
She used to like me when I was in middle school That was before 2001 year,Later she fell in love with a good friend of mine.
Later, I contacted her when I was in high school. I thought she love me again.
So I transferred to another school for her. My school is next to hers,In short, we are very close.
But what I met was that she was with someone else again.
I went to ask her, do you still love me?I didn't get any answers.
Anything strange happened after this. I remember this year is 2001.

She seemed to know that I would pass by her school gate after my class,
Then she and her new lovers,And her classmates stood in a row waiting for me,She sat among them herself.
Of course I saw her,I was just thinking in my mind:"what do you want to do?"
I don't want to go there and ask, why are you doing this, what do you want to do
I left the door of her school directly. But I saw that she immediately became depressed.

I've forgotten, before or after this
She called a phone and asked me, "how much is your tuition fee?"
I asked her at that time: "what does this have to do with you?"

It can be said that I played truant all that time. I went to the Internet bar and made a lot of friends,a happy time.

Many years later,
I thinking about her, I just think about my tuition about what I have done for her (or myself),
I wonder if she should pay my tuition fees, cuz I think that I did all this for her..................(this is a complaint only in my mind.)
But I realized that she knew what I will thinking in the future, She took my complaint seriously at the past.

It's not just about this. I don't know if you got what I wanted to trying say.
I even met someone told to me about her on the American forum.
The someone said to me, "you have a blue bicycle."

The world is really small, I did see her when I was in a bus before, she and a boy and her sis on the street, that boy has a blue bike, and I used to have a yellow bike(It was stolen a long time ago 2001 year), the reverse color of yellow is blue.

The point I want to express is not my emotional entanglement with her.(I've forgiven her and I've forgiven myself)

I mean, I felt that God really catch up some people into the air secretly, 2001 year

2001 seven years later , I saw Jesus coming in the clouds with glory 2008.10.10

https://christianchat.com/bible-discussion-forum/the-second-coming-of-jesus.193968/#post-4337271

There are many others details that I don't know how to reveal, but I'm sure this is the beginning of the seven-year tribulation doctrine .
And you thought I would not believe you : D
I believe you. There is no point in making this story up.

I know that 7 has a lot to do in the Bible. I do not know the exact meaning of that, but I've been thinking perhaps it's connected to a pledge of some sort. A contract, you might say. I do not know.

But, according to my research, "the time of the end" started in 2001. It's also the year Bush Jr. inaugurated, and the 9/11, and stuff was all on God's timetable. Daniel 11:14-15. This was 9/11. Bush is there too.

Since 2001, in the cycle of 7 years, there have been global events. Every 7th year. (Ex. 2008, 2015.) Jonathan Cahn calls it "the year of Shemitah," but some people blast him that he's misleading. But I don't think so. If this cycle really exists, then the next end of the cycle will be the year 2022. (2015 + 7). This is kind of why I don't think it's THIS year (2021) that something catastrophic will happen, but next year.

This year, however, I'm thinking things will start to go wrong for Biden or there will be some drastic change that will lead to something in 2022.

If God hadn't chosen Biden to be in office, it would not have happened. I've been told that Biden has dementia, and that it'll be exposed to public soon. And Dems will go "underground," and come back later on. This is the reason why God put him there.

Something is going on.

I think you misunderstand "election". God didn't choose Biden to be in office. He has always known (omniscience) that Biden would be in office. And He permitted it, even though there is clear evidence that th elections in most states were tampered with.

I've been told that Biden has dementia, and that it'll be exposed to public soon. And Dems will go "underground," and come back later on. This is the reason why God put him there.

True. What is going on is the end times. Everything is lining up as the Bible has prophesied.

In order for the one world ruler to be revealed, who will be Satan possessed and extremely evil, the "moral policeman" nation must be removed first. This is prophesied clearly in 2 Thess 2-
6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time.
7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.
8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.
9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie,

The bolded words refer to the 'restrainer'. Most pretribbers believe this "restrainer" is the Holy Spirit, who supposedly leaves at the pretrib rapture. However, that would be impossible, since the Holy Spirit, being fully God, is omnipresent and cannot be removed.

Second, There will be intense evangelism during the Trib, with the 144,000 Jewish believers, the 2 witnesses and 3 angels, who fly in midair proclaiming the eternal gospel. There can be no evangelism without the Holy Spirit, who convicts people of their sin.

So, who or what is the "restrainer"? Moral governments that keep evil governments at bay. During our lifetime, the restrainer has been the USA. But now that we have a hostile government in power, whose platform and policies are clearly antibiblical, it is clear that the "restrainer" has been effectively removed.

That's what's going on.

Have you been brought before kings and governors, or been taken to synagogues to be scourged, on account of Jesus name?
That's coming, for sure. Maybe you aren't aware, but Biden has sent a document to the AG at the DOJ identifying who the "real enemy" of this country is. The claim is "white supremacy" is the big evil, and the document identifies those who "speak against the government" are enemies, etc, etc. This is exactly what Marxist takeovers have done throughout the history of Marxism.

Among the "enemies" are those who believe in the Bible, conservatives, etc.

So, brace yourself.

I've posted an article [/study], some time back, that shows that the current Hebrew calendar is, like, off by "256 years".

So, if you add those "256 years" to next years' [Hebrew] calendar year (which will be "5782" according to the current-day Hebrew calendar), that comes to "6038" (starting in Sept)... which is not "evenly divisible by 7".

Perhaps this is why some consider his figures as being "off".

Just my two cents. = )

Excuse me, but the Beast doesn't come on the scene until ch 13 and the first set of 7 judgments begins in ch 6.
Not if you interpret Scripture properly. What is revealed in chapter 6 actually happens AFTER the Great Tribulation: Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: (Mt 24:29)
