Don't bide anything of the man, but only in Christ and His Word.

• “The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords. Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” (Psalms 55.21,22).

On the grounds of the sin, all human being is untrustworthy (see Psalms 20.7; 147.10,11; Isaiah 64.6; Jeremiah 17.5,9). Because of this, the Holy Scripture recommend making room for Jesus speaking and operate His miracles, feel like going to the secret place of the most High (Psalms 91.1; 37.4). Why run the risk of resenting the people hoping that they give us what they don’t have (only Jesus is the peace, happy and love that we so much wish (see Matthew 19.17; Ephesians 2.14,15; 1John 4.8,16)?

The dainties of the wicked ones are deceitful meats (Proverbs 23.3). On the other hand, The blessing of the LORD, it makes rich, and he adds no sorrow with it (Proverbs 10.22).

So, I suggest involving Jesus in all our ways, inasmuch as certainly He shall direct our paths (Proverbs 3.6) and we will prove what is the good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12.2).

I'm not entirely sure, but... I think it is very possible that God wanted me to see this today and drew my eyes toward it.

I mean.... for many years now, I've had a way of going to people with my problems.... and many of them would either keep giving faulty or ignorant advice that didn't fully apply to me or my situation, or sometimes they would just keep trying to tell me to do things that would've actually been the worst thing I could've done if I had followed it.

Lately... it has come to my attention that.... in some ways anyway, I am in love with human arrogance. Maybe somehow.... to our flesh side at least, it can seem better and sweeter than what God has to offer, maybe. I've often loved people who seemed to have just enough knowledge of God to parrot some of the same things I had been taught as a kid, buuut otherwise... they were more in love with just spouting off what they think and even making near prophetic-proclamations in some areas.

It's just.... very difficult to find God sometimes to talk to Him, or hear Him, because.... other voices drown Him out easily. And sometimes, even a person you trusted the most can end up changing their alignment or ditching the faith altogether... and worse, sometimes even the most learned pastor can become unavailable or sidestep in such a way that it makes you doubt everything.
