Who rejected you?Who broke your heart?
Who gave your life such a painful start?
Who betrayed your trust?Who hurt you?
Who had ill treated and abused you?

You know who you are..and so do I too.
You know the dark things you went through
Life made you feel unlovable and alone
No one to comfort you..not even via the phone

Life has made you feel like a kind of nobody
yet you seek to find real acceptance hopefully
For to many in life you are invisible
Making your heartache more invincible

Who will really accept you?Who'll care?
Who will see your weep a silent tear?
God will see,for his eye is upon you
He knows everything you've been through

He loves you.He sees your true worth.
He created you and allowed your birth
So though others haven't loved you
God your father does. This much is true.

Take comfort my friend.Heaven knows who you are
God will change things. You will shine like a star.
For though rejected by others he's never far
You're gonna win coz you're the STAR⭐⭐⭐

Warning against self-pity though.

Warning against self-pity though.
This is just showing empathy to anyone whose feeling this way.
Even if someone is feeling sorry for themselves...they are still being pointed back to the undying love of God...there is always light in the midst of darkness.

I, for one, want to thank you for a word in season, @Encouragement. I needed to hear and be reminded of what you wrote, so thank you for your beautiful and inspired words.

Likewise, thank you @HatedForNoReason for the apt reminder, which I equally needed to hear 😄 there is definitely a balanced perspective between the two and I believe both are necessary. At least they were for me (and may I add, I believe both of you were operating out of your giftings in what you said, so as a reader, I receive them both 🙂)

Hello Timothygirl you have blessed me greatly..I actually wrote this poem because I was actually feeling that way myself for a long time(wounds ect)...and wrote it to bless anyone else who may have been wounded in life in the same way too.At times our own trauma and pain can actually be a source of comfort for another and in this case I can see it has...You are a blessing and don't even know it"💕"

Glad I could return the compliment 🙂
Yes, I have always believed that in God, nothing is wasted. A wise man once told me that often times your greatest wounds become your ministry. Thank you once again, for being that source of comfort. Like you said in your poem, He knows what each of us have been through. God's heart is for the bruised reed and the dimly burning wick... we all need that reminder from time to time. Thanks for sharing your journey with the rest of us 🙂

Yes that's right.God is most definitely aware of the pain and trauma of human suffering.Praise God for jesus who has himself tasted suffering in the human form.We are blessed to have a God who not only understands us but one we can come to in time of need.🙏🏻😊
Stay blessed
