Jesus not only subtracted our sin at His crucifixion, He then added His righteousness at His resurrection.

Jesus did more than simple subtraction of sin . . . He removes the Adamic Curse, the Sinful Nature. This is what the Bible is about . . . the Circumcision of Heart.

Colossians 2:11-13 NLT - "When you came to Christ, you were "circumcised," but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision--the cutting away of your sinful nature. For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins."

Please toss that NLT out. that is a horrific translation

We tried to use it in church and had to toss it because if all the corrections we had to make

We were buried with Christ in baptism by the one who raised him from the dead

It is the spiritual baptism by which we are circumcised by the hand of God

Not when we were baptized
