What natural remedies are people using for this problem or mositurisers in general?

I asked my doctor and he prescribed me some chemical plastic type lotion to rub on it, its got proylene glycol and paraffin wax. Arent these bad for your skin and could cause cancer? same as petroleum jelly?

I mean I know people have PLASTIC surgery, but do we have to slather our skin with it as well? Wont it just make it worse.

I am thinking maybe stick with beeswax, or maybe olive oil but I dont want to end up all greasy. Or maybe I should just use lanolin, but its hard to find a pure form of it.

You do know the human body is made up of chemicals? You would die without sodium chloride. Your stomach contains hydrochloric acid. You are made up of lipids, proteins, carbohydrates, amino acids etc.

Plastic surgery has nothing to do with physical plastic. Lanolin is good. Usually you will find Vitamin E added. My dear friend, about my age, uses something called Heel Balm, recommended by a visiting nurse. (I'm 70). None of the nurse's patients have died from an overdose of Heel Balm.

Don't be intimidated by chemical names. Sodium chloride is salt. A lot of companies make up names to protect their research. Pick something that's been on the market a long time. It will be safe.

I was going to try Vicks vapour rub on one foot and a natural beeswax on the other and see which one works better.

why do people have to put weird sound names on their ingredients list?. If a product contains water, just say so, dont put AQUA or dihydrogen monoxide. If its salt, say its salt not sodium chloride. Or sugar says its sugar not dextrose, fructose or whatevertose.

I found this link which lists 10 foot soaks.

https://www.heelchill.com/best-foot-soak-for-dry-cracked-heels/

also, if you do use a "greasy" type lotion or ointment, use it at night before you go to bed and put on some socks. I've also used 100% shea butter (which is greasy until it soaks in) and then just put on a pair of socks.

hope/pray this helps.
