Why don't you summarize this? Three black faces vs one white one. No red, yellow, or brown. Critical Race Theory in full bloom?

What is critical race theory, and what does that have to do with the video? Are you accusing me of something or are you accusing the maker of the video? The entire olympics was not being summarised, just a few key moments. Aside from the events that Jamaica participated in, I didnt watch everything. But im quite sure, besides the three persons pictured there were other interesting stories from persons of every nation that were there -too numerous to mention.

NBC sees 'worst case scenario' as Olympics ratings plunge amid 'woke' protests

Ok. Thanks for that info. But what does that have to do with the video? 🤔 Here in Jamaica, interest in the games have definately gone down. I think thats the case everywhere. People are dying, loss of jobs, isolation and depression, vaccine worries. The world has been turned upside down. Soooo its natural that people are distracted by other things🤷🏾‍♀️. Even without the protests, viewership would still be low.

What is critical race theory
Critical race theory claims that America and Americans are all racists, and blacks must be given special consideration because of so-called "systemic racism".

Well if all Americans are racist, that means black Americans are racist too, as well as all Asian Americans. Im assuming when you say "Americans" that you arent just referring to white people. And if so im not seeing why black American racists should get special treatment more than the other races.

Anyway I dont believe all Amricans or all white people are racist. And if i was living in America, i would not need any special consideration except to be treated with respect. Thats a basic human need of everyone.

I watched the video. It was good and had a positive message and teaching.

It had nothing to do with any "race" or "critical race theory" or drama.

It is sad that people could just look at the color of each person's skin on the video and start making judgements without even watching.

Lesson of Simon Biles is that it's pretty hard to call yourself the greatest of all time if you don't even participate in your competition. I suspect she just couldn't handle the hype, knew she would choke and so pulled out. I guess that's fine. If you know you're gonna fail, then at least give a teammate a chance to compete in your place. .That's the best thing she could do probably. But I don't think anyone should be calling her the greatest of all time anymore.

sorry what is the lesson

I think Olympics is a bit of fun that takes peoples minds of their troubles, though athletes train very hard to be their best and have to give up a lot to get there. Its better to have olympic games than say fighting a world war.

I prefer the challenge of getting into the guiness book of world records though because its not just sports and games but other challenges you could enter as well. Also its every year.

Though for Christians having our names written in the Lambs Book of Life is our goal. Crowns for the most number of tribes and tongues perhaps? Kindest or most loving? Gentlest? MOst joyful?
